These guys are awesome! Not only did they get me in for a same day diagnostic, they fixed my car in the same day too. Everyone was super nice, especially Luna the garage dog. There's space to hang out and wait inside and out, and the grand total came in under the estimate. I will absolutely be coming back to them with any future problems.

I came in for a rear brake replacement and an oil change. The oil change went great, however I was told “nothing is wrong with your brakes” so he refused to replace the rotor. I was charged labor for him “looking” at my brakes $53. When I got home I looked at my rotor and it was completely scratched up and warped as previously observed. I called Mac’s to see if I could get refunded for the labor and he agreed and was very kind. As I came in I showed him pictures of the rotor and he said “oh yeah we checked your pads not the rotors” when that is what I had originally requested him to replace. Although I feel it was possible it was an attempt to scam some money without doing the work, I cannot prove that, but I do unfortunately have my suspicion. He returned the labor money to me. Will not be returning.

Found a car online and needed to travel to Sioux City to purchase it. I wanted a pre-sale inspection and Mac’s was able to accommodate my request. Overall a great experience. Everyone in the garage and office were great. They were able to inspect the car for a reasonable price and I was able to feel secure in what I was buying. Great experience. Will use them again if I ever find myself in Sioux City.

10/10 don’t recommend. Was referred her by a friend and wasn’t impressed whatsoever. My 2016 Chevy Traverse was having power steering troubles..Mac’s Auto told me it was the power steering pressure hose and quoted me $900 to fix it. I chose to take it somewhere else to be fixed. After fixing it .. it was discovered it was never the pressure hose but actually the pump that needed replaced!! Cost me more money than I needed to spend. I paid $50 to have it diagnosed there and they refused to refund me as well. Won’t be going back.

I’ve had the pleasure of having my car worked on twice at Mac’s recently. Both times were a great experience. My most recent trip, my water pump was going out. They diagnosed the issue right away and got it fixed in a timely manner. Prices are fair. I highly recommend Mac’s based on my experience. They were wonderful!
