We arrived at your store from Cape Cod, Massachusetts. We were overwhelmed by the size of your store. We needed to pick up five items for an appetizer we were planning to make for a family reunion in Marcus,IA. A young women asked if she could help us. We are two 80 year olds who must have looked bewildered. She wrote down the five items we needed and escorted us quickly throughout the store while we put the items in the cart Amazing. This would never happen in the Northeast.... ever. What a wonderful employee who went out of her way to help us. She knew where everything was in the store. She deserves a raise. Thank you Whitney.

Worst Chinese food ever!! I got the Orange Chicken and Beef Broccoli along with fried rice and egg rolls. I believe it was day old too!! Nasty tasting and threw it out!! What a waste of $23!!!

The staff is always incredibly friendly. I especially want to give a shout-out to Ashley. She is great at explaining meds and always encourages me to reach out if I have questions. I believe that all the staff cares greatly and goes above and beyond.

Came in tonight with my daughter and her children shopping and had some issues with the staff one being a manager girl name Yadira. It first started with another employee working when my light had came on and said I needed manager approval for Hy-Vee water-at self check out. I stood there waiting then she finally came my direction, but then she stopped at the checkout in front of me looked at it and walked away. At this point I was calling out excuse me hello Miss can you help and had to walk towards her trying to get her attention by calling her to come back. She came over apologizing and put in her code and left. I then started the payment process and after I scanned my card it said waiting for the cashier. I had stood there for a few minutes waiting and then waited a few more as all the employees were huddled up talking amongst themselves. That's when I started to approach them saying excuse me can I get some help over here? The girl that came towards me stated to me harshly that I could've asked the other girl for help who was just over there and she swayed her arm towards the other girl that had helped with the water. I responded to her that I was just trying to get anybody to come over again to assist with their self check out machines. At that point she stopped me rudely telling me to back up back up back up and push a button just push a button rolling her eyes at me as I was actually walking backwards towards the checkout I was just at. Her tone was in a very rude and aggressive manner and I'm sure my mouth was wide open with my jaw dropped due to the disrespect that I was receiving from this person. This is when my daughter had asked for the manager. Yadira stated she was the manager. Yadira was already back by the customer service area at this time. The HyVee security guard stood there in front of the Starbucks area and the only thing that he had stated was He was not sure what's even going on here. I explain to him that apparently I should be shopping at other grocery stores. Where the staff has a little bit more common sense, manners and courtesy for their customers . Now other little comments were being said by staff as we were getting our groceries in the cart to leave. Yadira parents should be so ashamed of how their daughter represented herself as well as HyVee for having such a inexperienced employee working with the customers and being a manager on top of it. This nasty person is who you are to go to if you need assistance. I'm sorry but I rather have my family shop elsewhere if this is how we are treated.

Self checkout is terrible no one at regular checkout. Self doesn’t take coupons error came up and I feel that I do not work for you. Where is your customer service? I know that there was at least 3 other people complaining. Next time you don’t have people checking out I will leave my cart and walk out?

Well, 3 weekly visits in a row, and 3 times I came home only to find expired food amongst my selections. The first two times I thought it might be flukes, as they had expired just a few days or weeks before I purchased. This time, I find pasta that has been expired for 7 months. After 3 times in a row, I need to either shop elsewhere, or check the expiration date on every last package I pick up.

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Their computer system or the people who type information in or take a prescription out isn't working well at all. I have been with this pharmacy over a year now, had to change from Walgreens to this Pharmacy due to insurance reasons. There has not been a month they have filled my prescriptions correctly. I have had 4 months with them filling a prescription I stopped taking within the first 30 days of being with this pharmacy. Walgreens in 5 years working with my 3 doctors which also had medication changes, which is a normal occurance called me twice to make sure my prescription was correct. Both of those times Walgreens staff caught the doctors errors. Walgreens Morningside also caught medication doctors had ordered but my record contained that I had an allergy alert This prescription costs $45. Due to their errors they agreed to reinburse me for Only ONE. I absorbed $135.00 due to their errors. A Second problem that has occurred every month since I had changed doctors I have received calls stating," I need to call in as the doctor won't refill because they don't see me any more. This has happened on all the medications.that this doctor prescribed. The system either doesn't change doctors name on more than one prescription at a time, or the persons filling my prescription is not correcting it in the system. This has happened now four months in a row. I have gone into the store personally and brought this to their attention twice now. They do go on their computer and it appears they are typing in and they say" I have checked your 3 medications and made sure the doctor's name is correct. When one of the three prescriptions were due to be refilled 3 days ago, I again received a call asking for my current doctor for a prescription. The Third issue , I asked if a particular over the counter medication had any side effects or drug interactions with any of my 6 On going medicines as well as my Just ordered temporary 3 medicines for pain. They said No. They were wrong, within 4 days of taking this OTC medication I was having side effects. I called a number to a a poison center and three of my medicines were on the high risk category of having drug interactions..I am in the process of changing pharmacies. Mail order isnt an option as two of my medications they can't send through the mail.
