Absolutely pathetic. Pro desk is trash, millwork is depressing, and lumber department disengaged. Every employee in an orange apron avoided eye contact. What a disgrace.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only disappointment of the trip was to find out that they don't stock appliances, or at least the Bosch dishwasher that was on display and rated number 1 in CR, at least of those in the price range that most of us are willing to pay.

I called home depot asking them to price match lowes for the exact same ceiling tile, ordering the exact same total number of tiles.The rep Natalia & her supervisor Jose were both incredibly rude. Talked over me every time I tried to say anything. Refused to listen when I asked questions & just gave me the canned answer every time I started to talk. They both told me that they wouldn't honor the price match because lowes sells the tiles "individually " (though you can only buy them from lowes by the case in quantities of 12, they will not let you order anything other than multiples of 12) and home depot sells by the "case" in quantity of 12. I explained that lowes will not let me buy 6 tiles, they only sell by the case as well.Jose realized that he didn't have a leg to stand on with that, so then he told me that he could only price match 1 single item. I asked where on the price match guarantee they state that ( I had thoroughly read the policy before I called & had it in front of me on the call) & he said it falls under "volume & wholesale pricing". I told him that is something completely different, that is when a store is willing to lower the price for 20 items then what you would pay for 1 item because you are ordering a volume amount. He stated I was wrong & because I was trying to order more than one item & price adjust it that this clause applied. Whenever I tried to talk though, he just talked over me. I asked him several times to please let me finish what I was trying to say. He refused.He was sticking firm by the fact that they would not honor the price match for the above reasons. By this point I was on the phone for over an hour. I had asked for their names & rep id's or anything to identify this call so I can message corporate. They both refused to give me anything other than their names and Jose did say they worked out of the Atlanta, GA call center. I asked who his boss was, he said he didn't have a boss. When I asked who he answered to, he said no one. When I asked if he was the only Jose supervisor there, he said that it was impossible to say. I asked how many supervisors they had at that location & he said over 500. I asked how they differentiated him from another supervisor if they had the same name. He said they didn't. I asked him who his Atlanta location answers to, he refused to say. He said that the only thing I can do is answer the survey at the end of the call. I asked who that went to & he said quality control. He stated that there was no way for me to get someone to respond to my complaint about him or Natalia. I asked him several times to explain to me how their job structure went at their call center because he had to have a boss if he was 1 of 500 supervisors. He told me that I already had an idea in my head of how it was so he would just let me think that. I told him that I worked in a call center for 5 yrs, I know that the highest up in the building do not take customer service calls at 6pm. And I asked several more times for him to explain their job structure there. He just kept saying that he was corporate & he was the highest up at that location.I told him several times that what he was stating for a policy did not match what their policy stated in writing & he refused to acknowledge that. I told him that we were going to be spending about $30k in the next month renovating our house & I wouldn't be spending any of that at home depot based on this call & how they treat their customers. That I would be taking all of my business to lowes from now on. He said very rudely that was fine & disconnected the call.

It is hard to treat your customers worse than home depot does. Online order mixups, lack of communication, inventory inaccuracies. I do not recommend online ordering at all.

Hard to ask questions over the phone when they’re phone don’t work. I wanted to check a product availability and I said it like 4 times and the automated voice they use just ignores you then hangs up then phone.

Home Depot huh Everybody Talks so good about Home Depot the only good thing about him is they do veteran military discounts otherwise walk in there and try to find some help or someone an employee doesn't just walk by you or you have to walk a mile when you're handicap just to find someone to help you no I've had good experiences once someone does help me but let's say like I need a three-way splitter and some plastic to go to my windows for the winter I expect it to be cheaper and better there holy cow you have to hit it on a day in hell to get a good price there otherwise they really need to work on their customer service helping people if they have to hire more people hire a couple just to walk around for customer service they'll be kept busy believe me once in awhile you do find stuff marked down or on sale for decent price but come on stuff that's going out of season or out of season come on Clarence it drop it a good price not 50 cents I'm talking dollars and clear it out now I will say this the employees out in lawn and garden they have been outstanding every time I've come in there to get stuff even if they had to come help me get it cuz I'm 61 years old and disabled they have been outstanding over the last year not just lately here

I asked about plastic to cover my windows on my home they said isle 8 then 11 then 4 the works have no clue as to where most of the products are and the have terrible service to the customers some of the employees on the floor don't even know there own department as to what is there
