Stopped today on 3/23/24 at around 7:50 PM to drop off three of my old MARIO character/cast T-shirts to the donation drop-off box, but the automatic sliding door was closed and wouldn't open and there was nobody present to open the door. Very, very unprofessional! Yet the signs outside state your business hours are 9 AM – 9 PM Monday through Saturday and 10 AM – 6 PM on Sundays. There was no sign on the door indicating if your door is out of order or any reason it wouldn't open despite your business hours. I ended up leaving after nobody would come to the door or anything. Do your job and put your customers first, especially when they're trying to get rid of some items they personally no longer need.

Beings I'm not a small or medium it's sometimes hard for me to find my size even in regular store. But it seems like every time I go in the Goodwill I can always find something in my size! Besides going to the clothing I love going to the books. I started out like in Amish books and then I got into Amish mysteries and then I got into just plain mysteries. Getting my books here has saved me a lot of money !!!.

Lots of overpriced junk. Manager was very polite. I was told by cashier i could help their furniture guy move my items out the front door to our vehicle (previous customer before me was smart and didn't wait for their furniture guy so he must've have previous issues too). you aren't allowed to take the furniture you purchase out the front door which makes absolutely no sense, they force you to wait for their furniture moving guy and he completely mishandles your already purchased furniture (scratching it up even more, using shopping to move items unsafely (top heavy) he further damaged our tables we had purchased and legally claimed full ownership over yet nothing was done to offer a discount or refund on the table he damaged. Nothing is even lightly cleaned, everything is grimey so make sure you have something to sanitize/clean your hands. We had to drive around the back by the drop off door to pick up our tables. He had nothing to say for himself about how he mishandled out property, not even a sorry. He simply said it has to go out the back thats the policy (well that needs to change), he clearly has no respect for the items people donate nor for the customers and the items people purchase which is probably why so much stuff is badly damaged. The Gordon drive location has gone downhill so much, even though the manager i had a conversation with was nice she probably shouldn't be running the store.

Thrift Stores aren’t just a place, they’re a way of life! Regular trips to scout and scoop up an ever running list of useful items, clothes, decor and seasonal decorations lend a true originality in one’s home, style and life. Some trips can be a bust, some items are out of budget, and sometimes it can be too busy - but the trips that lead to a bountiful haul of goods really can refresh your home and recuperate your wallet. When we need a change of decor or something doesn’t suit us anymore, a quick trip to donate solves the clutter issue (and when you purchase from a thrift store in the first place - it can be easier to let things go, knowing you didn’t overpay for something). Goodwill does good work helping people become employed and the items they sort and sell help those of us in need of gently used clothes and items. If you’re cleaning and de-cluttering, please consider donating - believe me when I say someone does want your 90’s country geese collection and snow coats!

The housewares, furniture and pictures are actually very very reasonably priced...much lower then the other goodwill in sioux city..my only complaint is that the shoes are over priced...some are around $6 but a lot of them are priced between $25-$55 which is outrageous for used shoes...even name brand..

Prices are way to high but then again they have to be considering what they pay their management. One manager makes over $180,000 (I Google it) and he isn't even the top dog!! So much for non-profit

Normally I like shopping here but the last time I was in the clerk overcharged me. Unfortunately she didn’t inform me that the items were mislabeled… she just rung them up at a higher cost than what was on the tag. I didn’t notice until I got in the car and looked at my receipt. After going back into the store and waiting in line again I told her about the overcharge. She said “the tags are wrong.”She didn’t apologize or offer a refund. She made it seem like it was my fault and I was an inconvenience for asking about it. (I had even made a donation when I made the purchase).

Went twice in the past week, left items and walked out the door both times. LONG lines of people and only 1 extremely slow, confused cashier. Unclean store, extremely high prices, best items are picked through and taken for online sale leaving the broken, stained stuff for sale. $30 - $40 on used shoes, $20 on waffle iron, $50 on kid's trike....come on! Management issue here!

Absolutely the rudest cashier (Rose-Gordon Drive- Sioux City) I've met. Really no sense in treating people like she does, if you don't like your job then you should find something you like to do so you can smile
