Bark Avenue claims to be cat friendly but definitely are not. After being expressly told not to shave my cat, they did. They then complained that he was aggressive and attempted to bite them and charged me $100(+) for a botched service. They told my partner he would be receiving a haircut (which they admitted in an email exchange) before shaving him and even nicked his nipples. Which they also claimed never happened. Horrible customer service and I had to go through the bank to get a refund on service because while they said they would return the difference (original service I wanted vs. what they gave) she only returned $20 to me. The original service I requested was only $60. On top of all of this, the owner accused me of trying to ruin one of her employee's careers by even bringing my cat into her salon. If you love your cat, don't take them here.

Called last week to get my dog in that has gone there for years and they told me no appointments until November. Obviously didn't want to cut her hair since the last time she was there they said she didn't stand as well as she used to. if course not she is 14. I would have recommended them before but this was rude especially since a friend called and got her pet in before November. Very disappointed!
