I payed them rent when I was newly married. The low rent helped my wife and I save up an emergency fund, which was good because we found out my wife was pregnant six months into living in the house. If they have an availability, consider renting from New Homestead.

I've lived here since February of 1999. It's decent, affordable housing (income-based rent). The majority of the people living here are senior citizens, but there's also a nice mix of younger people (like myself), college students, and families.
