The seats here are absolutely astounding! Super comfy recliners with cushions you can sink into, lean back, and prop up your feet while popping your drink into a cup holder.
However, the actual movie viewing experience is greatly lacking. The video screen looks kinda washed out and the audio is terrible! The speakers might be going out or something. The volume is just a bit too loud, which is especially bad since the highs sound piercing and grating, while the lows are quieter than everything else.
I recommend watching a movie here yourself at least once to experience the great seating, and to be able to judge the theater quality on your own to see if you think it's just as bad as I do.
But when I go to see a movie, I always go to Maryville's Hangar Theater just an hour away, which if you live in Clarinda right in the center of the two makes the choice pretty clear.
I remember seeing a couple 3D movies here as a kid. I wish they'd bring those back.

Wonderful theater! It is just the right size, reasonably priced and the oversized recliner style seats are amazing! Plus, the Lil trays for your snacks and drinks!

I personally have nothing against this theater and I will continue to keep going since it’s so much cheaper than driving to the AMC in Council Bluffs. But when I went to go see the Barbie movie, I was sold a ticket even though it was mostly sold out. I had gotten there 2 minutes late and walked into a completely dark full theater. I had to sit on the floor of the aisle and was tripped on the whole time. I’m just saying, if you’re going to have a sell out, please arrange the orders by seat number so I can actually find a spot and sit comfortably without it being a hassle. I should’ve got a refund but I didn’t.

It’s pretty nice, especially after it’s remodel. Reclinable seats and clean. The screens could be bigger.

Very clean and an amazing staff! Lots of seating options and the seats were so comfortable! I loved that we all had our own little table and cupholder!

Very accommodating for our 6 yr old birthday party. Met all needs for 10 plus kids and a few parents. They were above and beyond and happen to have sold out the theater. I'm sure it's the nicest in all of southwest Iowa and after the remodeling the recliners are quite nice as well.
