“I was visiting the Galena area last week and was hearing a noise under my car. My wife looked up nearby mechanics while I was driving and came upon Bloody Knuckle Repair, so we stopped in to see if they could take a look. The owner was very congenial, and said he'd be happy to take a look. After getting the car up on the lift, he discovered that the previous Jiffy Lube oil change people from Chicago had failed to fully re-attach the panel that is under the engine. So, he added some screws and completed the job that Jiffy Lube neglected to finish properly. The guy was great, and even gave me a Christmas coffee mug. If you need a car repair, go see Bloody Knuckles!!! Highly recommended!!”
“Can't recommend this place more!!! Had a great experience with them. Very professional, skilled and friendly. We camped nearby and realized we had driven our last leg with the emergency brake on in the vehicle we were towing. He took us right in, took off the tire, checked it out and determined that it was still good and did not need to be replaced. He cleaned it all for us. He charged us a very reasonable price....we gave him double because he was so awesome. The next day we went back because our hitch was loose. He used his equipment to tighten it far better than we ever could have by hand. He did not charge us anything....even though this only took him a few minutes, we happily gave him $20. This is a very reputable company with great integrity. Don't hesitate to go to them.Service: Vehicle maintenance”
