Truly a hidden gem. Located on main road from Hwy. 34 south to Lake Rathbun it is a must stop for people wanting an excellent meal with friendly service. Their lunchtime specials (Mon.-Thur.) are outstanding. Freshly made meatloafs to fried chicken, with still warm homemade bread, plus a desert, you would be hard pressed to find a better value anywhere. Their hamburgers and tenderloins are large, with real meat and served on a very fresh lightly toasted bun---I've had none better. This gem is worthy of a drive.

Wow, the food is fantastic. I had the tenderloin with onion rings. Wife had the breaded chicken sandwich with mozzarella sticks. I’m kind of disappointed I don’t get down that way very often, I would really like to try some of the other stuff. The lady working there to serve all the customers was fantastic also.

This is a great place to eat if you are headed to Lake Rathbun. Their chicken sandwiches are really good and their daily specials during the week are so good that go really fast
