We blew a tire 10 miles outside of town & didn't have the 'key' needed to unlock the rims. We stopped at 2 other places in town for help but were turned away by both. Then we found Popkes! Thank goodness. They helped by calling a mobile welder (who wouldn't help either), then allowing my husband to use their tools to get the rim off. Once he did, they put the spare on for us! Seriously, I was about in tears when we arrived due to the what-if's. And then again from happiness, when we left, due to their willingness to help & didn't charge us a dime. They have created fans in us for eternity & when we need work done in the future, they will be our first choice!

I called last Friday at like 5 pm (so closing time) he got me in on Saturday morning and even got them done by 10 30 a.m. I could not be more great tho as a single mom traveling nurse far away from anyone she knows with no other transportation. And if course there was more than just brake pads he had to replace break line also and he still did it on super short notice and super fast ... !!! Thank u so much!! And the price was more than fair also . Highly recommend!!!!!

Had a flat that needed fixed immediately. Tire was smooth bald, and not worth patching. They had the tire size I needed on hand, and changed tire immediately.

I got some work done here and was charged more than they quoted me. So the next time I was going to get work done with them I called to make sure the quote was right. I was originally told it would cost around $400 to get both of my front wheel bearings replaced. They called back and told me they wouldn't quote me how many hours it would take because it could be anywhere from 2-8 hours. That's a difference of $780 when I was originally quoted 1 1/2 hours of labor!! Everywhere else I talked to said it would be 2 hours of labor. I took my car to Rapid Repair and they told me there was NOTHING wrong with my wheel bearings and I just needed my tires rotated which cost $30! What kind of business would do that??

I do all my propane business through Popkes. I have been a loyal customer for 5 years and will continue to be. Greg and his staff are top notch.
