Stoneking Enterprises went above and beyond our expectations! The flooring they installed is beautifully done as well as the new faucets and toilet. I would highly recommend Stoneking to anyone looking to do a small or large remodel in their home. They were easy to work with, on time and responsive to our questions. Nathan, Bel and the contractors are amazing!

I have worked with many many contractors professionally and personally. This company is one of the easiest and dedicated contractors I have worked with. We had an issue when the project began and we spoke to them and they accommodated our requests without hesitation. Additionally as we got deeper into the project more work was needed. I found them to be affordable, honest and very hard working. The employees were professional and paid attention to detail. A small punch list was provided and it was made right without gripe. We had them install flooring. The product is top notch. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would.

We hired Stoneking Enterprises in 2019 after a total loss house fire to demolish the remains of the old house, remove a tree that was next to the house and limit the ability to rebuild, and build a new house. I can't post a normal review because the complete honest story is 10K characters longer than allowed, so here is a quick summary of the worst and the full review is in the pictures: -Violated contract price and terms -Didn't adhere to build schedule -DIdn't adhere to materials selections -Swapped to cheaper subcontractors without consent or notifying the county to update the building permit -Delayed documents necessary to get construction loan -Ignored construction loan deadline and extensions -Took two years to complete a house when industry standard for this area during the same time frame was about half that long. -Didn't maintain a clean safe job site -Didn't follow erosion control regulations during construction -Materials went missing from jobsite Poor workmanship included: -Not removing a tree that is causing settling issues for the house -Causing the existing retaining wall to fail and have to be replaced -Not putting the house in the correct location or elevation in the lot which necessitated putting in a whole new sewer line -Random wires sticking out of walls -Light fixtures hanging by their wires from the side of the house -Dark gray grout left all of the ceilings over showers -Not properly restoring the grade of the lot -Not pouring sidewalk all the way to our lot line or from the sidewalk to the front door -Damaging the neighbor's sidewalk with their equipment -External outlets that don't work or don't have an outlet in the hole -Using the wrong materials -Siding doesn't completely cover the exterior walls and sill plate in places which is causing pest problems -Incorrectly building the deck and leaving off the stairs to make up for the wood they were short. To top all of this off, they sent us our final invoice before the job was completed and before we were eligible to close on our mortgage and it was almost $40,000 more than our contract. We tried communicating with them through a lawyer and they rebuffed every effort. We ended up having to file a lawsuit in order to get them to communicate. There are not enough words for me to say how strongly I recommend that no one risk doing business with this company. If you do want to take the chance, then I strongly suggest you have legal council involved from step one and that you insist that the scope of work description state that the job is to follow the plans and the selections rather than trusting the clause on a later page that references those supplemental contract documents to be enough to protect you.

If you want to argue with a secretary for months, have anxiety from looking at poor quality, watch them screw up your insurance claim and deal with permits that weren't pulled at all then go with Stoneking. They measured my tub wrong and now my wall is at a 30 degree slant. My toiletpaper holder has shims in it and I cant put up shelves. It looks horrible. And im worried if i sell my house people with think its water damage bowing the wall out in one spot. The contractors liked to show up with zero warning "in between projects". We had zero time to move stuff before it got covered in drywall dust. I have a small baby at home and my significant other was not happy they would just show up without even a warning call. My partner felt overwhelmed dealing with moving things and an infant who was just woken up. And trying to clean up the dust after the many impromptu visits. They stole my motion sensor light. I had to argue to get them to come fix the outlet that they installed that isnt working twice. They claim the job is done and wont even fix it.The drywall looks horrible. Their own crew told me how the drywall guy used to be good but doesn't care now. It had to be redone 3 times before they just gave up. The mess was not worth more attempts. It is a joke. The job was started months ago and they still cant get it together. But they sure know how to send a bill before the job is done. I asked and asked about why the permits werent pulled. They hoped I wasn't paying attention because they failed to get the plumbing permit before my wall was closed up. Imagine the fun conversation their rude secretary had pushing the blame to me when I asked her multiple times about it.They wouldn't work with my insurance to break up the quotes so insurance denied part of my claim. And then stoneking screwed up and told insurance they did stuff that I had done so I had even more arguements with my insurance about who actually removed debris (me). The anxiety is not worth it. Hire someone else. Whatever they want to respond with just know you could avoid this same scenario if u just hire someone else. Their whole crew is turning over so fast they lack quality workers.

This is the second project Stoneking Enterprises has done for us, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. We know we can trust Nathan and his crew to be meticulous and thoroughly professional. They actually started a few days earlier than anticipated. Despite being sent some damaged materials initially, they stayed with the job and finished in a timely manner. We will call them again for any future projects.Service: Deck construction

Our home was extremely damaged in the derecho. 5 broken trusses, load bearing beam damaged, excessive interior damage. Nathan came in an accessed of the damage . Took the reigns and handled everything taking the load off our shoulders, met with the insurance adjuster, and made sure work was done and his team did an amazing job. Belle in the office was very knowledgeable about what was needed when ordering product, and scheduling. She was very detail oriented and on top of her game. We are extremely satisfied with all the work and attention to detail. Tim and Donna Fontana

They do everything! From new build to remodel, and everything in between, this is the company you call for the one stop shop. Not only do they install, they build it, too. Cabinets, custom showers, and more. My master bathroom is from something I found on Pinterest! None of the things I asked for could be done with a snap of the finger like they show on the D.I.Y. shows you see on TV, but it was sooo worth the wait! You get what you pay for! I'm madly in love with my home, and I never want to move!! Stoneking's has turned my house into my dream home!!
