My job had a Christmas party here last night. Very nice place! It’s out by itself outside off a paved county highway, and had plenty of space for all of us inside and plenty of parking outside. They catered our meal and it was fantastic. The bar had plenty of options and the bartenders were very friendly. Overall, very nice experience and I would consider this event center for a number of different events. Thanks BarLea Roots Event Centre for having us.

I have used BarLea Roots two times in the last 8 months - two weddings. Both times we had so many compliments on the food. Very good , food was promptly delivered - very generous portions- reasonably priced. Steph is super easy to work with.

We had BarLea Roots cater our daughter's wedding for 165 guests at the Waterloo Center for the Arts. The food was absolutely fabulous! My daughter wanted a Thanksgiving feast with ham instead of turkey, and that is what we got. This wasn't the cheap processed ham you normally see, it was beautiful slices of high quality meat. The cheesy potatoes, green bean casserole, and pasta salad were ALL delicious. The servings were very generous, and there was plenty of food for people to go back for seconds. We got SO many compliments about the food, which helped with the overall impression of our event. The thing that really topped it off was when BarLea Roots brought leftover containers and packed everything up for us to take home. That was so thoughtful and gave me one less thing to worry about! Oh, and did I mention reasonable prices? It's such a great deal! I am just so pleased with everything they did, and I cannot recommend this company enough.

Our class held its 35th class reunion here and we couldn’t be happier about the venue we chose. Our room was clean, the bar service was great and the food was amazing! Highly recommend this for your next event!

This is the place to go for any event!! Had my daughters wedding and reception there, and it was perfect. Great outdoor space, great indoor space, great food. Stephanie and her crew are fantastic.
