Love the restoration here. The Railroad portion was a neat story, but what caught us was the military and WW II history. Small displays, but the conversation with the curators was timeless. The displays and stories made my day. Drop in and spend a few minutes here, you won't be disappointed.

Beautiful, alot of local history, an information. Love all the displays from when it was in it's prime. If your visiting Red Oak, Iowa it's definitely a must see!!
From The Restored Burlington Northern Depot & WWII Memorial Museum
Your visit to the Depot and Museum, which is ADA accessible, can include docent and self-guided tour of the exhibits and memorabilia, and use of the military history and railroad research library. Also, enjoy the gift and book shop.
Regular OPEN days and hours: MON thru FRI, 10 am to 12 noon, MAR thru DEC. Self-guided and docent-led tours available any day and time by appointment.
