I’ve never had any trouble in the post office. 90 minute closure over lunch seems like a long time to close in the middle of what is already not great hours. My main complaint is that I had a package that was supposed to be delivered on Friday. It gets pushed back to Monday “before 7pm”. Right at 7:00 pm delivery time gets updated to the next day (Tuesday) before 7:00 pm. On Tuesday, at 6:18 pm it gets updated to say that the delivery was attempted and was now being held at the post office at the request of the customer. I’ve been sitting here since 5:30 pm and I also have a doorbell camera. Nobody attempted to delivery that package. So now I have to to the post office to pick it up 5 days after it was supposed to be delivered, in the tiny window they are open during the day, because someone at the post office decided at the end of the day that they don’t want to deliver a package to my house. I cannot think of another reasonable explanation.

Periodically & too frequently, we receive other people's mail and they receive our mail, so we all have to hand deliver it to the correct neighbor. Not sure who is mis-sorting the mail, but I hope it gets corrected soon. We have also not received our mail at all, and that is troublesome. They are very friendly though when you speak with them.

The two women in the store were so incredibly rude and visibly annoyed at my presence that I was very uncomfortable. It’s worth the extra drive to Ankeny to not have to experience that again. Hope I just caught them on a bad day…

Not that welcoming people from the post office, one of the things that is good about it is that is very close.

The USPS has turned into a joke. But don’t most things where government involvement is concerned (federal employees). Between the hours & price of postage they should have been out of business a long time ago. But don’t worry, they’ll just start funneling your tax dollars into a failed business to keep it going!!!!

For some reason they are only open from 8 am until 4:30 pm...... and CLOSED from 12-1:30 pm. I dont work a public SERVICE job yet I still work 8 hours a day. These hours of operation make it impossible for working people to come in and do business. IMPOSSIBLE. And you wonder why people have stopped using USPS.

The workers are so helpful and kind! I am grateful to have a small and accommodating post office in our community. They do close for an hour over the lunch hour. So be aware of that when dropping off a package or going to send something.

There rural drivers NEED TO USE BLINKERS. The white Jeep has no flasher telling people he/she is slow driver making frequent stops Also when done at mailbox it just pulls out. Almost hit a car trying to go around it today. Not the first timee I have witnessed this.

Lucky if get mail in correct boxes, keys are bent & locks worn out from elements but refuse to replace. Packages sometimes stuffed in mailbox if delivered to correct address at all. Hours open are horrendous for anyone that works normal hours.

The employees here are respectful and very professional. I have never had to wait in line more than one person and it’s always a pleasant experience.
