We visited Lewis Tree Farm after seeing several other places for trees; Lewis Tree Farm beat out those other, "Hands down." We built in a new division which only had a thin layer of dirt and the balance in clay. We had Lewis Tree Farm put in 15 to 20 foot trees; two maples, a special flowering pear and a locust. Our great (HA!) contractor dumped another load of clay on top of the pear after he had given the elevations as finished. The following year, the Lewis crew came out and with special equipment raised the pear four feet. We have been in our house for all most four years now and the company still will check on the trees to make sure they are doing well. One of the most important things is the owner to water properly and call at the first sign of a problem. We are in our seventies and did not want to start out with "contractor trees." The larger the tree the more care. We are very pleased with the trees, service and follow-up information.

Had 21 trees planted. Was given a one year warranty and had no idea that it would TAKE a year to show up whether or not they would survive the transplant. I have had 8 tress die.. and 5 that look HORRIBLE! I had received a promise that he would at least give me one free tree which was then never granted. The trees are not residential quality but more like farm property quality. Customer service is terrible after the sale. Will NEVER purchase from them again.
