We were passing through pulling our camper on our way home to Nebraska on a Friday. We got a bad leak on our transmission. We called all over town and they either had no one available or they didn't even answer the phone. Rick answered and said that all of his bays were busy but he said to bring it over so he could look under it in case it would be an easy fix. We did and he found the leak. It will be a major job to get it fixed properly, but he was able to do a quick fix to get us back to Nebraska. We had a great time visiting with him about things we have in common while he made the repair. We were very happy with his service and price. We highly recommend him!!

Rick's Transmissions in Ottumwa Iowa is the only place I would take my transmission work to. He is great on his work and has done 2 for us and we are getting ready for the 3rd one to be done. Great guy, great customer relations and does excellent work has done several transmission fluid and filter changes and I've never had a complain nor a problem would recommend him to anyone needing auto work done very clean shop also

I had my transmission fluid and filter changed out. The price for that was cheaper than most of the other guys. Only four star rating since he seems to be a one man crew.
