Aldi's is great for price and general selection. We buy veggies and some meats there. No free bags, so we bring our own. Shopping cart takes a quarter (25 cent piece) in the handle to use, removable when the cart is returned to the rack. They also have weekly object specials; we got some great kitchen scales years ago that we still use.

I haven't been shopping at Aldi's in years. The one in Ottumwa is nicer than the ones I used to go to 20 years ago. The selection is much better than it used to be.
