Walked in to see the workers all up front around a desk. They looked at me like I was an alien, when finally someone asked if the could help me. I told them I would like to see the dogs, at that point I was informed that nobody is allowed in back to see the dogs, but they have a wall of the dogs pictures of them.
Having worked at an animal shelter years ago, it shocked me to hear that. How can you connect with a dog seeing just a pic? Of course if you like the picture they will bring the dog out, but seeing the dogs in person would have been nice.
Please comment if you think this is right.

Young, enthusiastic staff. Dogs looked well-cared-for. Beautiful facility, spacious. Not the cleanest place, more could be done to keep it clean.

Peggy doesn't leave my side. She snores like a cage fighter. She's the perfect dog I was looking for.

This was the first time I've been in the new building. The dog we went to see was gorgeous! Had she been a couple years older we would have brought her home. I loved the room we met the pup and introduced the dogs in. Terry was exceptional! My special needs son was a bit overstimulated and Terry was so understanding of our situation. We got our current dog from this shelter, previously and he's been an incredible addition to our family.

I called the animal shelter last week when I found a cat at the cemetery. I asked about the shelter's hours so I can bring the cat in.The woman had a choice. She did not have to be hateful to me. I have choices also. We have always funded the animal shelter we will no longer be supporting them . I am sure that that can be a very thankless job he thinks this job but there is no reason for anyone to ever treat someone so disrespectfully as that woman treated me.

The person who worked there was bothered to help. Tried to make us feel guilty about asking his assistance and told us outright old wives tales about saving kittens. Do I look stupid to you? Only helped when he realized we weren't going away. Good luck.
