We were visiting Oskaloosa, and my daughter's Nissan Sentra was having an issue and making ominous sounds. We took the car to Darrell for an inspection, and he identified that the shocks on the vehicle were in really bad shape. Darrell ordered the parts and scheduled the service for the next day, and he completed it for an eminently fair and reasonable price given the immediate turn-around for the repairs so the car would be ready for our return trip to Chicago.I had a different issue with the same car last summer (of 2022) and at that time I was referred to Darrell, and he diagnosed and fixed the issue before he was leaving for a trip out of town the same morning! Darrell is a stand up guy. Rare to find. Final Grade: A+ (highest).

Darrelll looked at my car to see what the issue was. He went out of his way to be more than fair and gave me direct answers and advice. Helpful, friendly, respectful, and VERY generous with his time. I will recommend him to my friends.

I highly recommend Darrells, I was so frustrated with my car, it was leaving me stranded wherever I went. I had to jump it to start it and even then it took a bit. I had a brand new battery in it, so I knew it wasn't that. He told me to bring it in and in 15 minutes he had the problem fixed. He treats people really nice and explains everything. I'm going to have my whole family use him as their mechanic!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

We are very fortunate to have Darrell as our mechanic and more. He is extremely knowledgeable, honest, and always looking out for our safety. His prices are very reasonable, and he even came and worked on our vehicles where we live!

I was going to set up an appointment with him but he was very rude over the phone and I am going with another mechanic based on his attitude and how he treated me over the phone. Not recommended at all for anyone.

I just tried Darrell out in a desperate attempt to get my car fixed before thanksgiving. His communication with me through the process was prompt! He fixed my car quickly and charged an amazingly fair price. The next week my husbands truck died. He helped us get it started at worked with us until the problem was solved. He is an honest and kind man who will do everything he can to help. He has our business for life!
