“I was northbound on I-35 when the Creston tornado warnings popped up heading towards the interstate so I immediately got off at the next exit, Osceola, to wait it out. Just as I got off, the Mt Ayr warning popped up. I pulled into the Quality Inn lot and the front desk clerk Alejandra was at the front door taking a quick look at the skies. She held the door open for me. I told her I wasn't a guest there, but asked if I could wait out the storm in the lobby and she cheerfully welcomed me in. She kept the TV on in the lobby with storm updates and calmly instructed guests where the safest places to go would be. As the tornado passed, just less than a mile to the south of us, I went into the windowless restroom off the lobby. It was impeccably clean - and spacious, which was nice as several of us stepped in there! Alejandra was calm, cheerful, friendly and helpful throughout. She kept track of the situation over the TV and her phone when the TV signal was lost intermittently. I can't thank her enough!!”

“I was traveling. Needed a hotel room for the night in the casino was just a bonus. I had fun and great place to stay for the night. I don't know if you like snacks and all that. I recommend you stop the truck stop at the top of the hill. Get all your snacks before you head into the hotel.

Rooms: Room was clean and the bed was perfect and really good water pressure for the shower.

Nearby activities: It's part of a casino, so if you like to gamble, it's a great place to stay.

Safety: They have security in the parking lots which is nice so you don't have to worry about your car being messed with. It's a hotel that caters to people, gambling, social security in the hotels. Really nice to have.”
