“I showed up at this O'Reilly Auto Parts in hopes of a miracle. I explained my breakdown situation to Brent and Derek, and after realizing the situation and the problem of which was a modified broken brake line, and that the stock brake line I brought with me to my breakdown situation would not replace the broken one because of fitting changes made in the modification, Brent put a tentative plan together.

He sent Derek to the supplies of assorted brake lines, to try and match something close to the broken line. The Brent was kind enough to suggest my helping Derek seek out a replacement option.

Derek and I looked through every single brake line and found 2 that might work. We took the one which made the best choice and tried fitting the thread of the female ends of both the damaged line and the replacement one, thankfully the threads and size matched.

The line fitted in place of the broken line perfectly even though it wasn't the exact same as the modified line, so much so, that I'm going back to get a duplicate of the brake line Brent and Derek helped me find at their store.

I really appreciate the kindness especially in the dire situation I was in, and am so happy they found a solution for me. I am no one special. I believe Brent and Derek and anyone at this store would treat anyone else exactly the same way they treated me. I really needed this extra special care at that moment.

“Stopped at this Napa today with my kids. Driving in rain with bad wipers. Went in and the guy not only helped me pick great ones on sale but went out in the pouring rain and put them on for me! 😊 I told him he could wait till it slowed down some but with a smile on he said. Nah I won't melt. When he came back in he looked like he had showered. I greatly appreciate it! Someone give that guy a raise! It was around 1 on 10/6”
