Prescriptions come from somewhere else so it's not usually same day availability. No drive up.

I never have any trouble. Everybody is nice and friendly no matter how busy they are. If I have trouble with one of my prescriptions or question about them they go out of there way to help me. Highly recommended.

Fantastic Pharmacy and head Pharmacist Leann. Everyone is always so professional. They are patient even when customers get rude with them through no fault of their own and they take time to make sure you understand how and when to take your meds. I was in today with a question about a text I received from them and the clerk Jennifer looked up what it meant and what MY next step was. People have to remember they are ALWAYS there to help but there are times that things are not something they can control such as pricing of a drug, what your copays are or even if your doctor didn't call in the prescription. I used to get my meds from a mail order pharmacy but as long has Hy Vee is in town and they have the employees they have in the pharmacy we will be a loyal customer. Thanks Hy Vee!!

Multiple times don't have prescription on pickup. Worse customer service. Nobody should have to be without medication due to their unorganized work habits and poor management.

Horrible customer service and ‘Manager’! If I could give a zero, I would. I ONLY used because it was late in day and thought they wouldn't mess up again. Price gouging and ‘Manager’ Leann extremely rude, not helpful, non-existent customer service, and she is not in the isle with a ‘helpful smile’! She refused to let me ask my question. She continued to talk over me when I tried to speak and said no you can’t talk then put me on hold.
Called my normal always helpful/honest pharmacy and cash price is $50 for a RX (paid less than $20 prior with same insurance), Oelwein Hy-Vee charged my insurance $129.99 and $64.71 was my portion. I questioned the cost before family member picked it up and said don’t fill that, I got it either free or less than $20 prior. I was calling my normal pharmacy and would call back if I wanted it filled by HyVee. They allowed pickup 5 mins later, told my normal Pharmacy they wouldn’t transfer my RX and then informed me I couldn’t return it when I clearly overpaid.
The ‘Manager’ Leann called me back and said I’d get a refund of $22.66. What they did prior is ‘normal’ for Pharmacy procedure for all pharmacies. I tried to talk again only to have Manager talked over me again, I finally had to hang up because she wouldn’t allow me to speak or listen. They didn’t check cash price or discounts that they and customers have available. Normal pharmacy does do this, including my normal. After I had to waste my time and be extremely frustrated by a manager that wouldn’t allow me to ask a question, I now have a refund that I’ll never use and overpaid for RX! No wonder they have a less than 3star review still….horrible! If the manager treats customers like this, I feel sorry for the employees. Shame on you hy-vee for allowing this.

a lot of the reviews on here are old and negative so I would like to share my experience. i have never had any trouble with this place at all, my prescriptions took no time at all to be filled or refilled and i really appreciate how easy it is to refill a prescription over the phone, it's automated and you don't have to talk to staff unless further assistance is needed. as an introvert, autistic person, and someone with severe phone anxiety i think it's a great method.

I am a patient as well as an employee of this pharmacy and I can tell you with this pharmacy doing the high amount of volume that it does on a daily basis it does well. I don’t know if any of you have ever worked in pharmacy but I can tell you I have worked in pharmacy for over 22 years and the people I work with right now are the best and most caring people I have ever worked with. They may be frazzled by the hectic work pace and trying to please every single person but they do try to take care of every single person. It’s not easy working in pharmacy and it seems like anymore it’s getting harder. Take the time and think about how much volume a pharmacy does. This town has over 5,000 people in it and we triage everyday trying to get the most acute patients out because honestly if you’re child is deathly ill or you have cancer or your on hospice you will be first in our line. We love all of our patients and hope they understand we are trying our best to be there for them and their family. We wish you all the best and please understand sometimes there is a wait and sometimes emergencies do happen and things get pushed further down the line. We are dealing with patients lives, it’s not something that can be done like a burger in a fast food chain. We love you all, please understand ❤️

Slow as can be. Terrible customer service. Hopefully I can find another pharmacy I'm done with these slow pokes.

There is a lot of workers there they take forever to fill medicine. Some of the cashiers don't need to even work there because they are really slow.

Staff are fine but I have never had more trouble simply getting my medications filled, on time, with no confusion over delivery status or whatever else, even when giving more than enough time for a refill before I run out. And even when not calling during peak hours I have regularly sat on the phone with the line ringing for a couple solid minutes. Hire enough staff if you're going to try running a pharmacy.
