0 stars. Put my packages in the wrong mailbox and the unintended recipient kept it. They have not issued any refund.

Mail and packages are shoved in the mailbox instead of the package compartment. They refuse to put packages on the porch. They routinely stuff packages into our box that do not fit. Recently my mailbox was left open and instead of closing it to secure it, they decided they would take the time and effort to leave us a note saying it was not secure! They are closed and nobody answers the phone, so now we can not receive our mail. These are just a few of the issues.

Update: Rose took the time to come and see if she could find where my pacakge got placed. Its unfortunate she had to take the time to do this which is why Im still rating it a 3. Hopefully the person delivering can take an extra few minutes to make sure they are delivering things correctly.

People always give post offices a bad rap. But that's because people are often in terrible moods and then blame it on everyone else.I've NEVER had issues or difficulties at this post office. Beth is always so kind and helpful, as are the other workers here.

Just moved to the area. Tried calling the post office to try and get some questions answered. The automated system is the worst system ever created in the history of mankind, and there is no way to get ahold of an actual human being on the phone. I guess what can you expect from a government system. Too bad there’s nothing that can be done.

Recently had a package that was taking a long time at a usps facility in Michigan so I emailed usps just to make sure it wasn't lost/forgotten in the back of a truck or something. Got a call from the Norwalk post office a bit after that and the employee I talked to was very nice and said they would send an email to see if that helped to get it moving, it did and the package is out for delivery two days later ? they even called to let me know and said to call if it doesn't arrive today. Great service and friendly staff in all my other experiences as well

We continually receive multiple neighbors packages and we have had packages jammed into our mailbox that never should’ve been put in there causing one return because I broke the item getting it out and when going to the post office the lady is always condescending and very rude. They don’t even deserve one star!

If I could give negative stars, I would. I am constantly getting mail in another persons mailbox. They hold mail without permission, and don’t hold mail when requested. I understand I can’t always check my box, and with it being a small apartment box, I understand why my mail sometimes gets held, but they often end up returning the mail before I can pick it up because they leave the note on the wrong apartment door. By the time my neighbors get me the note, the mail has already been returned. Then, today, amidst the COVID-19 crisis, I go to check my mailbox, as I’m waiting on important letters. Mind you, my mailbox has been clean for some time, and I find 1 actual piece of mail. There’s no way in a weeks time I only have 1 piece of mail. I try to call, but phone rings off the hook over and over and nobody picks up even though they opened a half an hour ago. I should not be having to drive to the post office to find out why I’m not getting my mail during this time. This is absolutely absurd.

I'm not one to give negative reviews, but I would give this branch of the post office minus stars if I could. I have not had my mail delivered for 5 days, nor has anyone else in my apartment and apparently other areas of Norwalk. Not only that, when I call to ask the office about it the woman has the nerve to tell me it has been delivered... now don't you think I'd know if I got my mail? So then she says I've had no mail. Then she's says she will deliver it personally. I think I will AGAIN make a stop in this office after work and file a complaint. So what is it? Has it been delivered or do I not have any? Total BS. Also tracking a package tha was to show up. It says attempted delivery and couldn't because driveway blocked. Also complete lie. I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS POST OFFICE. I HAVE NEVVER BEEN MORE UPSET OR OFFENDED BY THE CUSTOMER SERVICE GIVEN TO ME FROM AN ESTABLISHMENT. I'm highly offended with the way I've been treated and idk what to even do about this given that it's the U.S. Mail. Whatever happened to their motto about rain or sleet or snow or hail. I'm completely shocked and upset about this. I've never heard of anything like this. P.S. apparently I'm not the only one feeling this way bc it's on Norwalk Facebook page and lots of people are upset.

I live in Norwalk and work in Pella. On a regular basis USPS (this office) fails to deliver to my house and instead leaves me note to pick it up at this office (packages that do not require a signature). More than once this has occurred on days where we receive packages from UPS/FedEx the exact same day with no issues. I’ve sent others in my household to pick up these packages for me as I work a standard 8-5 job in Pella and this post office is only open 9am-430pm… sometimes they’ll let this person pick up the package sometimes not. On the occasions they don’t I literally have to take time off work just to go pick up a package because the courier was too lazy to make the trek to my house. I don’t understand how USPS can expect to compete with UPS and FedEx when they are so much more difficult to work with. UPS and FedEx are not only open longer to accommodate for working adults, but I have not once received a notice to go pick up a package from either of them while I’ve lived at this house… but it happens with USPS about 50% of the time.

The delivery person did not put my package at the front door. They instead squeezed it into my mailbox. It took me ten minutes to cut the large box out of my mailbox with a knife. I can't see how anyone would think that is okay.

Been using this post office for my business for a couple weeks now. Best service I've gotten in a USPS facility! Friendly staff that legitimately respects their customers business.
