“We’ve adopted from other shelters in Iowa and Nebraska but Animal Lifeline of Iowa has been by far the best one yet!We adopted two kittens, who needed extra time to grow before coming home. The staff were amazing at letting us come frequently to play and snuggle. We made sure to spend some time with the big kitties too.Adoption process was swift and we went home with everything we would need for a few days! Wet food, dry food, medications for their spay surgery, detailed paperwork on their shots, fiv testing, deworming if needed, flea and tick treatment, very thorough! Even our vet was impressed with how detailed the records were!Colby made our adoption simple, smooth and a success with introducing to our elderly cat!Frankie (Now Chloe) and Samantha (now Nellie) say we love our new home!”

“I just went for the first time yesterday. The facility was clean and very nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. I loved the individual roomy stalls with a door. I would have liked a little more water pressure, and I will bring my own shampoo and conditioner next time. Theirs was so watered down it was really just water and barely created any suds. I used two full bottles of shampoo and still didn’t have many suds. It was nice that you can use as many bottles as you want. I thought the facility itself was worth the money I paid even without them supplying shampoo. I will go again.”

“This place is awesome. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and helpful with questions and suggestions. They have a large selection of raw food for dogs and cats. The place hasn't changed inside, in probably 25 years but that's not the point of it. Plus the huge fish tanks are always fun to look at.We shop here for our dogs and continue to be happy customers!”

“Called around looking for a particular colored ferret for the wife. Found a beautiful female ferret with a white head and arrow pattern on her head. I just knew that everyone would fall in love with her. Was worth the trip, the family was happy, and the other seven ferrets were "excited" for another baby to train and play with. We had many ferrets in the past and on our second business (group of ferrets called a business).”
