I had a bad experience before being able to even get into the store. Showed up at 4:52 when Google said they close at 6:00, owner was pulling out of parking lot, seemed really annoyed that we were there, asked us to leave. I checked again, and not only did google for sure say they close at 6:00, but the facebook page says they close at 7:00. Really annoying experience, will be sticking to the fish barn in west branch

Tried to visit this place twice and its never open even when business hours say it is. The business hours on their store front are the same as listed on google yet they aren't open. We tried waiting around since there was a car parked out front but half an hours has gone by and we are giving up on this place.

Han is probably the most experienced salt water aquarist in the state of Iowa. He has several reef aquariums in-store that have been running for over 10 years. He has a wealth of knowledge and is always happy to answer any questions. Very reasonably priced. Sea of Marvels is a must have LFS for anyone serious about starting a salt water tank.

The best marine life store in the Corridor..period. The owner, Hung, has been doing this for 30+ years, so he knows his stuff....used to be located on the Coralville strip many moons ago. Large selection of fish, (he gets a new shipment every Wednesday right now), and fair, fair prices. Hung is the type of guy you buy a dozen blue foot hermit crabs, he's going to throw in a couple just cuz... Great quality specimens too, I have never had anything die I bought from here. Have an extensive selection of corals....the 400+ gallon stingray tank right when you walk in is awesome.....there is also a large circular "pond" in the store with freshwater Koi. They don't open till 2, We'd thru Sunday usually, but they are closed on Sundays for the month of August.

Tried to come in three times now when your hours say your open and your closed. Try changing your hours if your not gonna be open!!!
