I’ve been going to this gas station for over 7 years and today will be the last time. One of their employees was riding my bumper and almost crashed into me multiple times driving a 2005 Ford Taurus from the Walgreens light to the station which is very close by. When I parked I looked at where that car was going since it’s turned into where I turned and it was the bp station so I walked inside and went all the way in the back where he entered through the back of the gas station. I saw him and confronted him and told the nice elderly fellow “you need to teach this kid who to drive” the kids starts accusing me of illegal turns and all kind of stuff and wouldn’t give me his name to report him to his boss. I tried talking to the dude up front when he was ringing me up and asked him if he recognize me since shop there all the time and told him about his coworker and there was no care in the world. I reported this incident that happened on aug 3rd at around 8:45 to the north liberty police department.

2 1/2 stars. I use to like coming to this gas because of the breakfast food, decent food for a good price and awesome workers but once I started to ask for double for each item of food I got or a extra plate for a coworker they would get mad or annoyed that I’ll ask for double. I thought that it was just me over thinking it then I asked one of my coworkers to go get me food and they had the same reaction when they ordered double of each item and they know who I am because I always get double lol Made me feel bad for asking for double though. I’m paying for the price of double so I don’t get what the problem is. If they didn’t want me to get double that’s all they have to say or put a sign that says no double of each item.

Used to stop here for the random stuff I'd need around the house. The staff would rather spit on you than deal with you, and while that can be rough sometimes I dealt with it. It kind of gave the place a crust punk hardware store vibe. They had literally everything here, need to find a washer to fit that oddball Ukrainian pipe your landlord installed because it was cheap, they got it. Need to get some industrial urine remover for that party last weekend you betcha. Looking for a bucket of minnows, a case of beer, and some industrial magnets? They got that too. Coming home late at night and need to feed your family some of the greasiest greasest chicken ever made, no problem. However, I reached my limit today when, while browsing I saw "FAKE NEWS" hats and other right-wing bullsh!t strewn all over the place. I've never known this place to really have much of a political bent, granted it never came across as particularly liberal, but it also never seemed to alt-right friendly either. This sadly was the last time I had ever set foot in the LD however, as I can't condone anyplace that hangs propaganda that promotes outright stupidity such as this.

Visiting from out of town and as I pull up they rush to lock the door 10 minutes before close... All I wanted was a bag of ice and a couple bottles of sprite... Won't be taking my business here anymore. We frequent the area and drive past this BP often. I guess I will just keep on going from now on. Bad business...

Worst customer service ever!!! I showed up to purchase a cooler, ice, batteries, and a bundle of wood for my camping trip. When I had asked the older lady with grey hair for "a thing of wood outside" she just looked at me with a rude glance and questioned what I had asked, and just shrugged her shoulders. I had almost just stopped my purchases and left. I had asked, "what's with the shrug?" She then arrogantly had questioned, "what do you mean a thing of wood, a bundle?" "Yes, some wood from outside to start a fire." When I took my items to my car and walked around the corner to get my "bundle of wood" she was just standing there with her arms crossed like I was wasting her precious time. Another thing was when I walked up to the register, the original attendant walked away to go help someone, probably a friend of theirs I'm gathering from the joking the two were doing, and forced my to deal with the older grey-haired bull dog looking lady. I will never go back to this place!! Do yourself a favor and go to one of the many other gas stations on the same street for your needs.

I live in another state and wanted to give my granddaughter a gas card for her birthday. I called several places and they refused to take my debit card on the phone! Not only did these nice people take my card and have her gift card ready for her they also told her happy Birthday! Thank you!!
