“I've been taking our car to Whitedog auto for the past 8-10 years we've been in iowa. White dog diagnosed my car at a fair price. They laid out the different issues they found and provided a diagnoses for the different issues along with estimated prices for the different fixes which allowed me to pick and choose what gets fixed based on my budget. They also fixed a couple minor issues at no additional expense while diagnosing the car. On top of that they were a pleasure to work with.”

“We in general are compared to what is our competition. I had an IID device that needed serviced/removed/transferred. In complete opposite of the shop that installed the item, this shop displayed true professionalism. The competition a stones throw away, berated me on where I parked my vehicle to the point of throwing insults my way. The hostile environment was created by them and was not something I wanted. I tried to atone for and deescalate. It didn't undue their disdain for a paying customer who made a mistake.Hawkeye on the other hand, had clear painted parking spaces and the staff never wandered from being respectful professionals. They will get my repeatable business that is for sure.”

“They did a great job with my car! My only mode of transportation with no family near me, they made it a priority to get the repairs done quickly and smoothly. Only took 2? Ish days and being able to drop it off the night before and allowing me to pick it up after hours was much appreciated. The person at fault paid for the repairs, but I went to 3 different shops around the area and not only did they do a great job at the repairs, but it was also the cheapest. They were easy to work with and very nice/respectful. Highly recommended!!”

“I bought a used Ford Raptor this past July from your Cedar Falls location. Sales person was Randy Spiers and sales manager I believe was Carl. Went on short test drive and truck ran good. The radio did not work and they said they would fix and work can be done at Iowa City location since I live near that location. Driving truck home a heard a whining noise during accelerating. Called Randy and he said to have it looked at when the radio was being fixed. Nate was my service advisor at Iowa City location. I let him know about the noise and said he would look into. I contacted Nate at end of day and could not get radio working and needed a part ordered. He then said they heard no noise. Then researched noise from Raptor and they said it is a common issue with vacuum line needing replaced. When I picked up the truck the service tech and I took it for a ride and he heard the noise before leaving the parking lot. Nate then said that is a common issue and ordered the part. Three weeks later and three more times I had the truck dropped off to fix radio. On the engine noise Randy and Carl said the vehicle was sold as is and not there problem even though I had a 90 day service, but would not cover the repair and I was charged almost $800. Not happy and will not return for any future purchases or service. Ok Tyler from Iowa City location took to issue and called me, thanks. Problem was with the Cedar Falls location and their lack of customer service. Nate from Iowa City was great and was put in the middle of a bad situation.”

“I've worked with JP on a few different car projects now. My first project was repainting the metallic grey color of an Alfa Romeo Giulia that I had rebuilt. JP was very accommodating with his schedule to work in this paint job and took the time to blend various paint tints to get a color that matched flawlessly with the original body panels. My second project was a rebuild of a Mazda CX-5 which JP prepped and painted the needed body panels for (bumper, hood, fenders). Again, rather than just go with the paint code listed for the car, he spent the additional time to mix and tint the paint to match the existing body perfectly. I was very pleased with the work that he did and the timeframe in which he completed it. I will continue to bring my future paint projects to JP for his work!”

“My work does work with Mark's, and so I decided to take my vehicle after I had a fender bender. My vehicle looked great after, and I had no issues at all.
Fast forward about 12-18 months.
The fender had gone back to rubbing the front passenger door as it wasn't aligned properly, and there was paint peeling in places it was not supposed to. I wasn't exactly thrilled, but crap happens so I took it back. They got me scheduled quickly and she's good as new!
Turns out they had a bad hire and have been rectifying his work. I love how they were honest with me and I'll definitely use them again if I need to!

“We recently hit a deer with our vehicle and after spending most of the day trying to find a mechanic that would at least be able to tell me if my vehicle was safe to drive that day, I called PB Body Shop and they should have been my first call, because that would have saved me a ton of time that day. They told me to stop by anytime and they'd take a look at it. When I got there, Tom spent a good 30 minutes with me talking over the damage and explaining why he considered it safe to drive. He even discussed areas that could be a concern and what to watch out for. After the assessment, he was able to get me scheduled to get the vehicle repaired in about 10 days, which was less than half the time I was getting from other places in the area. Tom negotiated everything with insurance and by the next day was already ordering parts. He initially gave a 2 week estimate for the repairs and only missed that by a couple of days due to a part being held up in shipping. He did communicate these delays and provided updates daily around and after the expected completion date.
