Our dogs are well cared for and our nervous sometimes aggressive dog is totally chill with them.

Before anything, I want to give a special shoutout to Meaghan—she’s absolutely amazing and professional. All the other staff are so kind as well. We bring our Leopard Gecko (Bob), and he sees Dr. Sabourin—she’s really knowledgeable about exotic pets. Can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you have exotics.

This place takes excellent care of my Australian Kelpie/cattle dog mix. He is very anxious about the vet and they know just how to give him a hug to calm him. They are such a friendly place.

Animal Kingdom is just special. Everyone on their staff is not only extremely friendly, but aligned with the singular goal of providing your pet with the absolute best care they can receive. The services, care, and attention they provide your fur family are easily the best in the area.
I have to give a huge shoutout to Dr. Schmidt for the amazing care she has provided for my puppy. As a high energy, and clumsy Golden Retriever who believes that he can, and should, chew on/eat anything in sight, there have been many frantic calls and visits to see Dr. Schmidt. No matter what, she treats him as if he were her own puppy, and is his strongest advocate in the room. I cannot thank her enough for all of her hard work, kindness, patience, and help. I know unequivocally that she is the best vet for him.
The first sentence says it all. This is a special place, with a wonderful staff. I will always recommend Dr. Schmidt or any of the other fabulous doctors and staff at Animal Kingdom.

I’ve been going to Animal Kingdom for over 6 years and have had incredible experiences. Dr. Schmidt is so knowledgeable and cares so much about her patients. Dr. Noel is very kind and always takes the time to listen to you and your pet.
Everyone on this team prioritizes the well-being of your pets. The care they provide is second to none, and they offer services I haven’t found anywhere else (the chiropractic care my dog who has a degenerative disc disease has received from Dr. Schmidt has been life changing for her).
We’re so lucky to have a team and practice like this in the area!

I see all these positive reviews here but the reality is just the opposite. They put on a good show but at the end of the day the only thing they really care about is making money. They like to upsell you on treatments that may not be in your pets best interest and when they're called out on it they become argumentative and defensive. Horribly overpriced for the services they offer. I have had my dog seen by many vets in different states in our travels and I can say unequivocally that Animal Kingdom is the most expensive veterinary clinic we have ever been to, which is saying alot considering she has been seen in Florida, a notoriously expensive state for everything. If you need to find good, caring and AFFORDABLE pet care I would suggest looking elsewhere. These people only care about one thing. Making money.

We've been bringing our West Highland White Terrier, Parker, to Animal Kingdom Veterinary Care Center, and we couldn't be happier with the care he receives! Dr. Noel has been especially fantastic. She is not only super nice and good with Parker, but she is also extremely attentive to his specific needs, especially his allergies. It's always reassuring to know your pet is in great hands. We highly recommend Dr. Noel and the entire team at Animal Kingdom for anyone looking for compassionate and thorough veterinary care.

Phenomenal vet clinic and staff. I have a reactive rescue dog who makes even routine vet visits a nightmare. The AKVCC staff provided ample accommodations to keep my wild one as calm as possible. They were kind, patient, and thorough in addressing my questions and concerns. During the (incredibly difficult) exam, they showed such professionalism and candor that put me at ease. I’m so grateful to have established care for my boy with such an outstanding vet clinic. Thank you so much, AKVCC!

I've had two times now where my cat needed immediate attention for his health, and Animal Kingdom got me in right away! The staff is very kind and considerate and work with you when it comes time to know what your bill will be.

Animal Kingdom is a great place to take your furry friends, the staff are great and helpful through the entire process of taking care of our 2 senior dogs.Cons:- Every time I have been there (4 times in the last 3 months), the pups have seen a different doctor. Not a huge deal but when it comes to continuity of care, information could get lost.- Vets are expensive... So it isn't necessarily a CON only for Animal Kingdom, they have to make money somehow.Pros:- Of the different docs that have seen by pups, they clearly read the files ahead of time and are prepared, they would follow-up with information that only they would know from reading their charts.- Staff truly love animals, they have a cat that chills on the counter and is very comfortable with all the various animals that come in and out.- Facility is clean and doesn't stink of animal pee or poo, they keep the place wiped down and tidy!- Staff and doctors are helpful and answer questions as thoroughly as possible- The doctors followed up with phone calls and I spoke to them personally about care for my pups.- We have now said goodbye to both of our pups with the help and care of AKVCC. The personnel were sweet and compassionate through the entire process. Thanks for caring for our dogs for the last 6 years.

ETA: I wrote this review back when AKVCC was under its previous ownership, with Dr. Ahern. Now that the practice has been bought out by private equity, none of the staff we knew and loved are there anymore, and the vets we loved have all departed. If you'd like to know more about what a private-equity-owned vet clinic will do for you and your pet (spoiler alert: it's not good), listen to the Freakonomics Podcast episodes "Do You Know Who Owns Your Vet?" and "Should you trust private equity to take care of your dog?". I'll summarize it: prices go up dramatically, but pet health outcomes get worse. We have already switched to another vet that is locally owned.===================I can't recommend Animal Kingdom enough. They made a huge positive impression on us when we were in the unfortunate position of putting our beloved cat to sleep. When I called to schedule the appointment, crying, they were compassionate and gentle with me. We arrived that evening and the staff had filled out all the paperwork for me---which was good considering I was crying so hard I couldn't have done it myself---and all I needed to do was scribble a signature. They quietly took us directly to a private room where we were given plenty of time to say goodbye to our kitty. When he came in, Dr. Ahern explained what was going to happen, and let us hold Panda while she went to sleep, and he said how sorry he was for our loss, and told us to take all the time we needed. Everyone, from the front desk to the doctor, were gracious and kind, and understood that we were going through one of the worst days of our life in saying goodbye to Panda. For routine care for our dog and cats, they've been fantastic -- even taking the time to learn our kids' names and talking to them during visits, too! They're affordable and kind, and really make you (and your pet!) feel appreciated as a client. I will never go anywhere else for my vet care.**Update 3 years later: I wrote this review in 2017 and it's now 2020, and in the interim, the adorable schnauzer in the picture became sick with diabetes, then went blind, then glaucoma, kidney stones, and bladder infections. It was nonstop, one thing after another, for 2 years until we finally decided his little body had had enough. Once again, AKVCC was there every step of the way. When we'd been in to the clinic 3x in a week, they comped one of our office visits. They helped us find specialists to deal with Kitty's eyes. And when the horrible day came to say goodbye to our pup, they once again handled us with the utmost compassion and care. They were there for us on one of the worst days of our lives, and they helped make it a little less difficult. All the <3 for AKVCC!
