I absolutely LOVE this studio! The people are all very kind and supportive, and it's still challenging enough to be very engaging! The only thing I'd want more of is 1. more international dance forms to learn, and 2. more history on where the dances came from or are inspired by. :)

My favorite place in Iowa! I started here a little less than a year ago as an adult (nearly 30) with no dance experience and have since gained so much confidence in myself. I was able to learn and understand body movement while also coming to love myself and my body so much more than when I started. The instructors and owners are all so kind and helpful, making dance accessible and fun for all in a very comfortable and safe space. Spending time at All The Way Up Studio is always the highlight of my day.Anyone over the age of 18 who is looking to dive into self-love — try out heels or chair!! My transformation in those classes has been amazing and I’m so thankful for the staff that puts those classes on. You’re going to feel AMAZING when you learn that cool chair trick or hit that choreo and get a video (if you’re comfortable) to show off to your friends. :)

All The Way Up Studio is an amazing place to take dance classes for all ages. The owners create such a safe place to be yourself and to just have fun. I'm so glad my friend recommended this studio because everyday I go to class I never want to leave. For anyone of any age just looking for a place to learn some fun routines, this is the place to go.

All The Way Up Studio is an amazing place where you get to move, grow, and be a part of a fantastic community of people! There's such a wide variety of dance classes offered, and the classes they offer are unique compared to what you usually see in other spaces. Traditional workouts never really stuck for me, but I love getting to move, have fun, and get healthier all at the same time here!

I have been taking classes with ATWU since January and I just love it. I feel so fortunate to have come across the studio. There are a variety of dance forms available with some absolutely amazing choreographers. I really admire how everyone is welcoming to new people and how they bring out your own personality and confidence through dancing. I cannot thank Liz and Joel enough for creating this startling and affordable place.

After my previous dance studio closed it’s doors due to Covid I was in desperate need of a new studio. Dance had become such a huge part of my life and unfortunately there aren’t many options for adult dancing in the area. I was very nervous to walk through the doors the first time. I had never tried hip hop dancing before and thought I would be laughed at. A friend and I tried the K-pop class first and once we got there all my anxiety instantly melted away. Joel and Liz treat you like family the minute you step in the door. The energy is so positive and inviting. This studio is filled with such diverse and talented teachers and students. Once you try them you’ll fall in love just like I did!

I can’t express how much I love having this studio in this area! I had lived abroad and gotten very attached to the studio I attended there; upon moving back home, I was hoping to find a similar place and All The Way Up has more than exceeded my expectations! The choreographers are so fun and so good at breaking down their work, and the variety of classes you can take is awesome - what an asset for the Iowa City/North Liberty area! The atmosphere too is fantastic - I’ve made a lot of friends through the studio and love being able to show what I’m working on by having videos taken nearly every class! I highly recommend ATWUS to anyone around looking to learn or improve their dance skills and challenge themselves - it’s truly like family! ☺️❤️

This studio is a fabulous place to have in the North Liberty/Coralville/Iowa City area! They offer a range of classes and are a very comfortable place to dance. Welcoming to all, the teachers make sure all of their dancers are able to complete dances by making modifications in an easy to learn environment! I would suggest them to everybody!

Very open and friendly environment. I have no formal dance experience so was a little nervous. The instructors introduced themselves to me right away, and the women in the group were very nice and supportive. It's a very positive atmosphere and FUN!!! Doesn't matter your age - I'm 45. If you miss dancing, this is a great place to bring the vibe back to your life.

ATWU dance studio is an incredible environment and community to be a part of. I have learned so much about dance and myself during my time as a member. You could not find more creative and inclusive staff who make everyone feel comfortable to get outside of their comfort zone. Highly recommend this dance studio for anyone regardless of their dance experience!

Really nice crew! I've never taken a dance class in my life, and the instructors are very patient with me. It's also a fun place to nerd out about Kpop with other fans.EDIT: Been going to the studio for over a year, and it's been amazing. I'm no Bensei, but I can definitely see improvement from when I started. It's a very encouraging, friendly, and safe atmosphere.

ATWUS is a great home for dancers of all levels of experience and age ranges. There is a wide variety of classes that responds to student interests, as well as workshops if you want to try out a new style. Joel and Liz have built a positive, community-focused culture where all dancers are included and celebrated. Come build your skills over time and have fun videos to watch your own growth, if you want at ATWUS!

What is NOT to love?! The only place in the Iowa City corridor that offers a space safe of hip hop, breakdancing, heels and more! The owners are some of the nicest people we've meet in Iowa. They are accommodating and of course some of the finest dancers in the area. Both myself and my kiddo love going to classes at ATWU!! Give it a check. You are only promised fun.

Best things in Iowa are: summer sunsets and ATWU dance studio ?If you are looking for modern dance styles and friendly attitude (plus no age limits!) - you can find it all at this nicely decorated studio. There is an opportunity to be filmed at each class for your own purpose/becoming a dance blogger on insta ?Also conveniently located near the interstate.
