They will go for several days without picking up or dropping off mail. It is like they fired their mail delivery driver and shut down operations. They also get mail mixed up and put it in the wrong box often.

Literally just moved here from Grinnell and this place is worse than my hometown. They won't answer their local phone and they keep sending us previous tenants mail despite me asking them to stop sending their mail to me and giving them me and my wife's name to make sure that that mail only ends up here.
Absolutely ridiculous.

after i filled out a hold form plus a sticky note with a note written on it and was told my mail would be held until i was able to get my change of address done, they in fact did not hold my mail. the lady told me as of the day i came in that my mail would be held and this in fact did not happen. i will never be going back to this post office again.

I usually have nothing but good things to say about this post office but I'm changing that today! They lost my medical insurance and bills that were supposed to come in on a Monday. At first, I felt as if the new clerk was a little snobby. Wouldn't do a Thoroughly search for my mail until I suggested that she does. It took her less than a minute to walk to the back to check and to come back. Then proceeded to tell me that I was looking at my mail notification wrong and to wait 14 days for me to come back. I don't have 14 days, I have things to do. I just know that now I either see the lady who has been working there for the longest or if she's not there I just won't do any more business until the vet comes back.

The USPS offers several Options inregards to tracking your mail and packages it's pretty cool,All you have to do is apply online the services you want and it securely goes to your email.Theres so many things available from purchasing stamps,shipping packages,Cards for all Occasions.You would be amazed to research the History of How it came to be...Descriptions of old stamps to New Ones.Rare ones,Animals,People,Disney Characters, Cartoon ones,Flower's,Famous Actresses and Actors, Arists,Music Icons.They all have a Story to tell.

I am so tired of not getting my very important mail. I worked as clerk and Mailhandler 15 yrs with USPS. And I have never ever had worse delivery in my life. This is the 3rd check that I am waiting on that’s been sent back again why bcz the incompetent mail carrier for newton iowa can not get my mail in correct box. Seriously. I also get every neighbors mail at least 1 or twice a week. Why bcz they can tell what home goes to what box the says it right on it. Stop hiring these temps and put carrier employees back on or reinstate me I’ll deliver correctly. My word.

Worst post office I've been to. Was in their (mostly empty) parking lot for 5 mins prepping a shipment before an employee told me " I couldn't hangout there"Wow. Okay, I'll go to a different location.

Newton seriously has the BEST post office! That is mainly because of the employees that work there. Every employee is so nice and helpful, for the ones wining at the post office, to the ones actually delivering the mail, they are all amazing. Newton is so fortunate to have them all!

The Carriers never try and deliver your packages to your apartment. They just leave a notice inside the box so you have to go to the post office and pick it up which is very inconvenient as a person who works 2 jobs. Today I actually was able to meet my carrier at the mailbox, and asked if they could give me my package from Amazon as I did not have my key on me. They refused because they did not know who I was. I told them the name, and address of package and then suggested that they check my ID which he refused to do.
