These doctors were wonderful with Bazzle, I brought him in after a pretty intense scuffle with one of my other dogs. The doctors were non-critical, and offered reassurance when I called back to check in with them and had questions. They took such good care of him, and I will definitely take him back on a regular basis. Dr. Timm was amazing, as well as the vet techs, so kind and caring and so sweet to Bazzle. 10/10 would recommend.

I had a rescue dog that I adopted in Ohio in 2012, and he passed away about a year after moving to Iowa in 2022. It happened all of a sudden, and I was a total basket case. Newton Animal Clinic was the only clinic in Newton open on Saturday. They were so nice and kind on the phone, and had me bring in Mr. Doodle. They went over cremation options with me, and they handled the rest. I was so thankful as they helped me in my time of need. A few weeks passed, and I needed a new pal. I decided to adopt another dog, Hobbs (nka Scout) from the shelter in Grinnell. I chose to have him cared for by the Newton Animal Clinic based on the positive interactions that I had with them caring for my deceased Mr. Doodle. They are all very kind, caring, and professional. They are a great choice in Newton.

You were able to fit Hawkeye in on Sept. 14th without an appointment. He was miserable with itching and inflammation on his bum. The anti itch spray you prescribed for him worked like a charm, and he was so much more comfortable. He's now back to normal, 2 days later. Not bad for a 14 year "old man". Thanks for taking such good care of him, as always!

They were great for my aunts dogs. Her dog had to be put down same day, I found out mine had a tumor, I was told we would have time so I paid MY bill in full for meds and the test, appt. As well as for my aunts dog to be put to sleep.. Well that night my dog declined now I guess she is in a coma or something still breathing, making sounds, no movements . I paid everything I had for her the day. If I would have have inow I did not have time I would have put her to sleep with my aunts dog had I known she would be going through this. I do not have the $ for being put down just $ for what happen when she passes. So, this started Sunday 3rd and here we are thurs 6th and I get to watch her be like this until she passes. $$$. Love the people and how they treated our animals I do get they have rules but if you are lower income or spent $$$$ there that week, for nothing with them you get to watch your pet suffer. That sucks!

The Newton Animal Clinic is the best! They take wonderful care of our senior dog. He had surgery this week and they kept us informed of his progress and answered all of our questions, both before and after the procedure. They are very kind and caring. We highly recommend them.

The staff at Newton Animal Clinic is always friendly and helpful, but more importantly they are knowledgeable. Last week, one of my two kitties (Harper) was suddenly quite sick, and when I phoned the Clinic, I was told there were no appointments available that day. However, I was offered the option of leaving my cat with them so they could work him in and then call me as soon as he’d been seen. I was surprised how quickly Dr Curry got back to me. My boy was sent home that same morning with medication, a treatment plan, and a promise to phone us the next day to check on Harper’s progress. Harper’s doing well now, and I am grateful to Newton Animal Clinic for their part in it! I also like that their phone is answered by a real person rather than an infernal robot!

There seems to be a coldness about those who work here. A lack of compassion. My dogs are my babies and the feel was of from tw moment you make contact with the staff.I'd say 1.5 stars outta 5
