I’ve been trying to call to have flowers delivered for two days and the phone is just ringing forever or they pick up and hang up on me. Tried to place an order online and the website is stuck in a glitch loop so I can’t place an order there either.

The staff and employees were absolutely wonderful this weeks. My son married a girl here in my hometown where I haven’t lived in 42 years. Hy-Vee handled the donuts(rather than cake), rehearsal dinner, alcohol, deli items to feed the bridal party before the ceremony, and all the last minute item. Thank you for helping make the #Irvinityandbeyond wedding amazing!!

Very disappointed by the flower department. I asked them if they could wrap 2 flowers together was told we don't have time. Well how sad.i even called the manger next day and she told me that would not happen. Didn't even say sorry. Well guess I will go elsewhere for my flowers these was to be for my grandson graduation.

Went to the store had a gift card, I purchase pop and dog food, the total was$37.69 she told me I had $27.01 left on the card, so I had her ring up the rest of my groceries. The rest of the groceries totaled $26.10, so should have been nothing owed! But oh no, she says that will be $53.29. I questioned that but she said that it was right, got hope and used calculator and couldn’t get the bill to be what I got charged on. Went to the store and the customer service said no it’s right. Not sure I will ever go there again!!!

I am very disappointed that your store has decided to make so may of the checkout lines self checkout. There were 2 checkers and self checkout lines not being used while patrons waited in line for the checkers to check them out.

Called to order flowers for a funeral and I am extremely impressed with the beautiful arrangement from Hy-Vee! Jennifer was professional, polite and took time to understand what I envisioned. I'm so pleased. Outstanding service and gorgeous bouquet.

We did carry out Chinese tonight from the Newton Hy-Vee, and this was the worst food I have ever had from a Hy-Vee. I moved to Newton from Ankeny about a year ago, and this was our first experience with the Newton Hy-Vee. We ordered two entres which came with a rice choice, 2 egg rolls, and 2 crab rangoon. We received 3 containers (bowls with lids--two entre selections and one rice selection) that were about 1/2 full--very scant and clearly old food. Even the steamed rice was only about half full, and we all know rice is dirt cheap. The egg rolls and crab rangoon were ice cold. We asked for sweet and sour sauce and got none--we ordered the food online and it was picked up. So, for about $20 we got about half the quantity of food that is usually in the containers, the food was cold AND old, and we didn't get any sweet and sour sauce as requested. What a disappointment. I'm not a Hy-Vee shopper because of the outrageous prices, but I have had some fairly good deli food from my Ankeny Hy-Vee. This was very sub-par. We won't be ordering again.

Reading the unfavorable reviews, I think the reviewers got lost along the way. One person is from Minnesota and the other one, from southern Iowa. The NEWTON Hy-vee floral department is outstanding. We have always been very satisfied with our orders fulfilled by this store. Everyone realizes that if you wire flowers elsewhere, this store has nothing to with how orders are fulfilled, right?

During the COVID situation we ordered flowers for pick up services. The florist we talked on the phone assured us that the 2 dozen roses we are ordering just arrived fresh yesterday. When we recieved the order the roses were withered and the petals were falling apart. Very dissapointed, I am a regular customer, it's very unfortunate for them to be dishonest like this.

The whole idea behind them changing everything around was so everyone has to stay there longer and look down every isle to find what they need in hopes of selling more groceries ... whatever!
