“Unbelievable service at this place. My car was running hot and I had a radiator fan not working. I called to see if they could replace it and Jim told me to bring it in the next day and he'd take a look at it. He was busy when I brought it in, but took time to check out my car anyway. He ordered the part, said it would be there the next day. I came back the next day and Jim was busy again. But he replaced the radiator fan right away and said that my coolant was low and needed a new radiator cap. Jim is a great guy and I couldn't recommend Warrick Motors more strongly.”

“I was traveling cross country along I80 when my van had a mechanical emergency. Lucky for me I was towed to Gregg Young Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Newton. Even though they were booked solid for the week, Bill was able to slip my van in for service the next day. I was back on the road in less than 48 hours from when my van broke down. Many thanks!”

“We had to wait awhile to get someone to speak with us. My grandpa has a 54 ford pickup that needed to be re-alignment. Didn’t seem like there were a lot of employees. However the service was good. After someone spoke with us we got set up for what we needed. They were able to get us in the next day for the work on our truck. Would recommend to people who have time to drop your vehicle off and pick it up. They have good service. If you have enough time on your hands definitely try it out.”

“This man was great. Our car broke down on I-80 a few miles from Newton. He gave us advice on how to get towed after 5 when most places are closed. He drove us to a motel and looked at the car the next morning. When I phoned to pay him he said no charge. He gets 5 stars”

“Barney's was a lifesaver. My Ford e350 cutaway van (aka shuttle bus) lost acceleration right at the I-80 exit in Newton, IA (was heading to Iowa City, IA from Jackson Hole, WY). I called the Newton police to help get me to safety after I had reversed on the on-ramp and was tucked on the right turn onto the on-ramp (a hazard for semi-trailers). The police called Barney's - I believe it was Barney himself who showed up with the tow. He hopped in and got it to the other side of the on-ramp safely. His shop was right up the street, so he instructed me to go up the road and followed me just in case I lost acceleration again. It was a Saturday afternoon and then the following week was holiday. Given these factors, I knew it probably be a good week before diagnosis and fix. Barney's had it ready to go in a week's time (in business days). Turns out it was the fuel filter as Barney had suspected. I called twice for updates and everyone was really friendly - I believe I spoke to Mark on the specifics. I also wasn't charged for tow or the service call on a Saturday, which I really appreciated. My father is a diesel mechanic and so I'm very familiar with shops and the business of it all - I can tell you wholeheartedly that these people are the real deal, honest, and fair.”

“The service department is lucky to have Luke!I was on a long roadtrip through the area, had just pushed my car through a blizzard, and needed last minute help servicing my car as a result. This dealership was right along my route, so I called the service department less than 30 minutes ahead to ask if I could make a pit stop. Even with this last minute request, Luke was helpful and speedy, ensuring my car got necessary maintenance to run efficiently. Everyone was in high spirits and welcoming when we got there, and I was back on the road with a happy car shortly after.(Bonus point for the organized toy area that kept my son occupied).”

Not only was I greeted as a new customer with a true 'customer-service- approach, but I was listened to in person and on the phone as I was in a bit of an overwhelming state due to my daughter's car issues in a town I don't live in, she just needed assistance while attending class at the Newton DMACC campus. The staff at Magnum treated me like a valued customer and took care of the problem and walked-me through every step.
