Amazing place and staff and the food was fantastic amazing.. If you are a truck Driver as myself please come by plus the lot is big enough to stay overnight. Also this place has Showers, Washer and Dryer

I stopped here recently for a late morning breakfast. You must understand that this classic "greasy spoon" is located on US 61 on the edge of Montrose. It's nothing fancy; however, it is clean (including the men's bathroom), and more than reasonable in meal prices. The very friendly waitress seemed to be a jack-of-all-trades. She took my order, cooked my food, served my food, ran the cash register, and seemed to be doing other prep work in the kitchen. There are only about six or seven stools to sit on at the lunch counter. There was a warmer by the cash register with food ready to-go. How was my breakfast? Perfect. The omelet was cooked just right on the grill as I watched. The wheat toast was hot with butter generously applied. Bottom line: If you are south of Fort Madison and want a delicious meal of comfort food, Garner One Stop will treat you right without assaulting your wallet.

When you first see it your like eh, another gas station. What an understatement. They have rooms to let, showers and groceries. But the best part is the "Garner Mess". Tell you what, best 10$ meal I've had on the road. Nice job fellas. Can't wait till I come back in town. ?

This is a rough stop, and I wouldn’t spend the night here. Get your gas, use the restroom and be on your way.There are two showers available here, and I think the single washing machine and single dryer are included in the price of the shower.Cashier was acting a little strange and eyeballing people in the parking lot quite a bit, and they unfortunately sell bulb-shaped glass pipes for things other than weed if you catch my drift… I wouldn’t stop here again.

MICE!!!!!! ?. Showers are not clean at all. A mouse ran out when I opened the shower curtain. Mice droppings all over the place. Very unsanitary for a place that serves food.
