I had an issues with getting credit for a phone I returned. I spent hours over a period of two weeks trying to resolve the issue over the phone. Everytime I called I got the run a round and a different story from a person who was clearly in a phone room in another country. I figured surely my local Verizon could help. Ha! What a joke! I went out for help and was told there is nothing they can do, I would have to resolve the issue over the phone. So shocked and disappointed in Verizon! I’ve been with Verizon since 1995 and this is how i am treated??? So know that if you go with verizon and you get a massive charge on your bill you will have Absolutely NO help to resolve the issue with your local store your only option is someone in a phone room in another country.

Calls drop all the time on Verizon service in mason city anymore. Can’t hear conversations, breaking up/distorted, random silence during calls. I have the latest iPhone 14pro and still nothing but problems. Support is worthless! Switching carriers first chance I get.

This store is terrible. I tried to call the store location to ask a question. Waited on the phone with an automated system and got transferred to over seas to some kind of tech support service. Turns out you can’t directly call the store to speak with them. I was informed this by a man I couldn’t understand, I’ve never experienced nothing like this in my life from a business. When I got to the store 45 miles away, cause I live in a small town they had no selection. The people were exceptionally rude and unhelpful. I only give them a one star because there is no option for zero stars……unacceptable

The guys that help me were really great. They were patient and stayed late to get my new phones and then set up for me. This was in Mason City.

I went to this location trying to transfer off of an existing account onto a personal account and the manager and salesman came up with every possible excuse to not help us. After they told us that we would have to handle the issue on a weekday as the business account department was closed. We tried to upgrade an existing line on the account and we’re told we would be better off ordering online. We ended up calling Verizon and ordering through the website and then transferred over to the business department line to try to transfer the lines. When we went back to try to upgrade the phones and lines on the personal account, I had mentioned that we got right in contact with the business department, he acted as if it was insane and impossible to do it. The salesman who mentioned he had been there for 8 years was extremely argumentative and defensive. I would say him and the manger could use some work with customer service skills and could be a bit more educated in their fields. The salesman also mentioned that they don’t make commission on phone sales and only really make their money on service issues. They made it very clear that this was the case due to them not wanting to even consider helping. I will not be stepping foot inside this location under the management that currently resides. I ended up going to a different location and was invited in with open arms, finally coming to a resolution with the nightmare that occurred at the Mason City location.

We were told there were two people ahead of us. There were actually two groups of people. There were three service employees on duty, but after they completed working with a customer, they went in the back room for at least fifteen minutes, even when they knew there were multiple customers waiting. This is the poorest service we have ever encountered in over fifty years.

I wouldn't give this place one star but you have to in able to leave a review. I have an account with Verizon I asked for a new sim card and was denied because they said my phone wasn't compatible I said I want a new sim card let me worry about the phone. They would give me one. We all know the sim card makes the phone work so all I'm asking is the card they don't need a phone to give me a replacement card. Extra points for lack of common sense.

Get my phone cleaned out and put apps back in. Awesome Staff.Come to find out they charge$30 otherwise they won't help figure out anything,Sucks and what a racquet!
