Our vet had a family emergency over the weekend, so we contacted MCPC. Despite us never having been there before, Dr. Spiess expressed genuine concern and allowed us to bring our cat in. Both Dr. Spiess and his wife were incredibly friendly, compassionate, and delicate in handling the situation. My wife and I are deeply thankful to them for taking the time out of their evening to care for our cat. Although the outcome wasn't what we had hoped for, they were empathetic and demonstrated what a caring veterinary clinic should be like. We highly recommend MCPC to anyone who can visit. The prices were comparable to our usual clinic, which is affordable, and overall, it was a very positive experience given the circumstances. Thank you both!!

While traveling I needed a last minute shot for my pups and my dogs had gotten into Ticks they had a great solution! We were very well taken care of. I was so grateful they fit us in . Now two months later Traveling back through same area my Greyhound hurt his foot. Again they fit is in for an emergency visit. They remembered both my dogs, took great care of the foot injury! Respectful of how I handled this old greyhound ( harness only due to neck injuries). And on top of the great care very fair with the price. I would like to take them with me to all my destinations! You guys are very lucky to have such a great Practice in the Mason City .

Receptionist was extremely rude when I called in to ask some brief questions. Just because you aren’t taking new clients doesn’t mean you should treat the people on the phone less than. Hopefully other customers have a more pleasant experience.

My roommate took her kitten here for a neutering procedure as well as declawing and they didn’t even give him a cone?? Glued his incisions on his paws which of course he was continuously licking at and now has an infection at the wound. When she called they said to super clue back the incision that burst. Terrible. How are they even allowed to practice animal medicine.
