I have a daughter and friend with Asthma and Cats are just the worst. Might want to let visitors know.Nearby activities: Area contains music man information.”
“This hotel was nice, it had a free breakfast. It had a pool but the hot tub was out of order when I was there. The walls were pretty thin you could hear the hallway noise at any time of day. That being said it is a place I would stay again
Walkability: Pizza Hut, caribou coffee, taco tico, Arby’s”

410 5th St SW, Mason City“We travel a lot for business and personal, you never know the conditions of a hotel until check-in, especially in smaller towns. This hotel was recently renovated and one of the best choice hotels I have stayed in a long time. We were in route after a long day and called in advance to make sure we could have our dog in a king suite. The gentleman at the front desk put us in room 102 King Suite - first floor rooms are for pets. This room was beautiful with a large separate sitting room, huge bathroom with extended double sinks, huge jetted tub with rainfall shower head. The floors were large updated tile- no carpet, everything was clean and fresh! There were 2 air conditioners and televisions,
sitting room and bedroom. We arrived late so couldn’t make it to a local restaurant but they had paper products and plastic utensils in the front lobby so we could heat up our own and enjoy and evening in our room. The front desk agent was super friendly in the morning too! I love to give great reviews of establishments that are deserving and this is such an occasion. I would rate this hotel highly for customer service, cleanliness, pet friendly and beautiful well remodeled room! I only hope other choice hotels will follow.”
“Did not stay. But really enjoyed exploring and admiring the detailed architecture and renovations. Played pool in the pub on a billiard table as old as mine! Needs to.be re-leveled. But another great space to enjoy, would have really enjoyed a beverage at the pub, but maybe next time.
Nearby activities: On the Park ?️ square was well maintained and convenient for vendors.
Walkability: We walked about five blocks to the Frank Lloyd Wright neighborhood, and around the downtown to capture all the art
Noteworthy details: The blackberry mojito was incredible at tappos at the Quarry! The margarita flatbread was a perfect light lunch”
