I have shopped here since we moved here in 2005. They are so nice , friendly, professional, & help you all they can. I think we all should shop with our locals anytime we can. Looked for paint colors, got paint samples, and came back to purchase paint all in one day. Paul helped me choose a paint type that would be most appropriate for my project, and it was; had no paint fumes, dried quickly, great color. Going to make this True Value my first stop before Menard's when I'm doing home projects in the future.

Im telling ya I love everyone that works there. I come in with odd ball jobs and each one of them has the patience to help me figure out the answer to the issue at hand. They are very knowledgeable! I feel taken care of every time I leave.

Maybe put a sign up saying your card machine requires $10 or more so people who travel don't have to buy your unnecessary extra items ?♂️?♂️ it's 2022 no one has cash anymore. Get with the times ?

I go to Thompsons because they have the best customer service. I asked for dryer hose and I was escorted to that area and asked how many feet. Did I need clamps. Once I was finished shopping my hose was cut to size and waiting for me. After my transaction was complete, I asked how to begin a project and got great instructions without products pushed on me. I will go back there to get what I need, though.

Went in to have a key made for my roommate and didn't have cash. Unknown to me, they have a limit of at least $10 to use a card. When I declined to purchase more items to make the total $10, they refused to give me my original key back, as the worker had already cut the duplicate.My only house key.
