They helped me with a couple of cats that were abandoned and are also going to help me with a litter of kittens from another abandoned momma. They saved the day for me. Thank you so much. The kittens should be available around June 2024

This place seems more about the money than reuniting pets with their owners. My mom's dog got loose for the very first time because my brother forgot to close the fence back up after doing yard work. We looked all over for her that night and found out the next day that she was here at the ARL. It started off at $115 and my dear friend ended up paying $145 so we could get her back. The lady on the phone seemed annoyed that we were trying to come up with the money to get her out and didn't have the money right then and there. I was in touch with her over the next couple days. "Don't forget! It's an extra $15 a day that she's here!" What DISGUSTS me is that if we hadn't come up with the money, they would have actually adopted out my mom's REGISTERED EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMAL that she got after losing her husband of 39 years!! The lady taking the money at the desk wasn't friendly at all and didn't seem to really care that my mom's dog was a Registered ESA. You'd think she'd at least smile since she was getting her precious MONEY. We don't have to worry about my mom's dog leaving the fence because she's traumatized by it now, so I guess thanks for that. She now knows she never wants to return to your "rescue league."

I got my dog here and he is amazing. I put my cats down here and it is an affordable place when it is that time. I do think it is odd they rarely have small dogs available.

We picked up a dog that was supposed to be a pekingese with paperwork that was supposed to have a medical update for being spade/neutered.
Neither are true.
It's not the correct breed, and the medical history is sketchy.
We don't recommend this facility to adopt a pet.
