If you are a college student living in Iowa temporarily, don't go to Walgreens for any type of vaccine. They advertise it as "free to all", but then when you get there, they tell you that without Iowa specific insurance, they can't help you. They refused to even check my national status insurance, which should have covered it. Go to CVS instead.

Awful! Scheduled a Covid booster and flu shot today. Was told when I showed up they weren't doing those vaccines. Asked why they didn't email or text those that were scheduled. I received an "I don't know" and a sorry. Very poorly run store. Will NEVER visit again. Would rather say 0 stars.

Sat on hold for 2 hours on 2 phones and was hung up on all 4 times trying to refill my prescription and had to ask the pharmacist if I could refill one a week early. I was even on hold with the store general number for 30 minutes trying to talk to anyone in the store. Called my doctor and moved my prescriptions.

If I could give this Walgreens zero stars I would. Every time that I have been there I've had to wait extremely long amounts of time and they have continuously filled the wrong prescription's. I was told that they were ordering in my prescription due to the fact that they did not have the right dose on hand and when I went there to pick up my other prescriptions they tried to give me the wrong dose and charge me the full price because insurance would not cover the wrong dose. I would never write a bad review after one visit but this has happened three times.

If you want your meds on time and efficiently I don't suggest them. They will leave you on hold for a hour, then leave you out to dry. The techs will not look in deeper into your situation and will not transfer over from other pharmacies. We had to basically argue with them to call CVS to get my medication transferred so I didn't have to pay a full price for one month of my medication. When we did that they finally told us that they didn't have my medication in stock. Thanks for throwing my meds off :)

I stopped by this Walgreens Store in Marion, Iowa and it seemed like your average Walgreens. I was greeted by the cashier when I walked inside. I went to buy some Emergen-C and vitamins. The cashier was very kind and helpful. Overall, average experience.

The folks at Walgreens are always helpful. And they are willing to answer questions and help with developing photos.
