Jay runs an honest and upstanding repair shop, something not commonly found. He's great for everything from basic tuneup and oil changes to brakes, suspension, electrical, major engine overhaul, and custom work. Won't take my vehicles anywhere else!

Nobody in Cedar Rapids area wanted to put stage 3 race clutch and flywheel in my 19 si. All 15 some transmission shops in town only do OEM. Jay's excitement about the project sold me. Jay is a subi guru but did a great job with my aftermarket clutch as well! Highly recommended!

You don't get ripped off . What you need is explained. The prices fair. Hard to find any mechanic that is truthful including dealership. This shop is truthful . Very rare Would recommend this shop .

Jay does a great job of finding and fixing any problem. He is super fair with his prices and with his work. My fiance has taken her Subaru here many times and he always figures out what the real problem is. She had an issue that no one else could figure out (2 other mechanics) and we left it with him for a week and he had the problem fixed and the car ready for us.

Jay was so helpful in telling us what we needed as this was our first subaru and not knowing what to expect for repairs of our turbo failure. He is knowledgeable, and willing to share that with others. We had a deadline of needing it repaired before our son's prom and Jay did what needed to be done including pushing his vacation back to get it done. We are more than pleased with his work ethic and professionalism. The car is done and better than we ever expected. I highly recommend his shop for any and all repairs for all makes and models. Jay is very easy to talk to and work with. He really knows what he's talking about! He's knowledgeable and is willing to answer any questions you have and only do what your car needs without doing anything unnecessary or extra! The only mechanic I'll ever go to from now on!
