Moving on, many of us remember with nostalgic pleasure, Ben Franklin's dime store, or Bing Crosby's famous reference to "the five and dime" in one of my favorite Christmas Songs.
This store in Mapleton has something for everyone. I've seen women with white hair and girls with purple locks sharing space along corridors neatly packed with goods that never go out of style for any one at any age.
In general, clerks are friendly. The owner, Carol's smile is genuine and welcoming. That's what I needed when I relocated from across country. And when I need a new broom or lipstick, I will always consider that store my first stop.

This store is a diamond in the rough! Such a fun little store that has just about everything that one would want to find. Prices are reasonable for being in a small town. The ladies that work there are super friendly and very helpful with any questions that you may have.
