1 star only becuz I can't give them a half a star. Absolutely the most unprofessional place I've been too. To start applied an was hired on the spot by Renae Maas. Was told background checks take a week. I've waited 5 weeks now I've called every week to be turned away with no reasonable answer. It came under new ownership an not impressed with the professionalism. For A place that already has a hard time in the area, just not what we need in mapleton. Ppl wanna be able to come get hot food an there always closed in the deli? Time for a new grocery store I would say?

Most food choices are adequate and food products are fresh. However some not so fresh food items, such as some meats I observed, were not the right color. The thought of it still makes me queasy so enough said. Most employees are friendly and helpful and I shop there occasionally.

You can find about 95% of what you're looking for....and the store staff is super friendly and helpful. About the only way to improve the store is at the meat counter. I guess Fareway spoiled me...

Onawa has a bakery - Mapleton does not. Love to get fresh bread when I go to Onawa Fiesta. Mapleton and Onawa Fiesta have nice employees. I get the good horseradish in Onawa too. Breakfast is yummy in both!!

Seems I always need some grocery item on Sunday night that I forgot to pick up earlier. This store has saved the day many a time when all other stores in the area have already closed. Great selection, reasonable prices, clean environment, friendly staff, and convenient hours.

Friendly staff, decent sales. Kinda pricey, as to be expected in a small town. Happy to pay a little more and buy local, in hopes it continues to be resource for those "bound to" Mapleton.
