“Great prices on discounted groceries today was my big day of finding lots of bargains. Three bags of groceries for under $40. I like this store for things such as pasta,flavored water and various other things such as cereal, coffee beans and kcups. If you look for expiration dates closely you can find lots of great merchandise.”

“I thought I’d reviewed this store years ago! This is a comprehensive kosher grocery store which serves the Orthodox/Chsssidic community here in Postville. There are plenty of cholov yisroel dairy foods here. There is a small fresh meat section, which provides a different selection depending on the season, but always stocks fresh chicken and various cuts of beef. It also has cold cuts, hot dogs, condiments, etc. There are many other cuts in the freezer section The store carries heimishe and other brands of dry goods. I believe all of the baked goods are pas Yisroel. The store also carries nosh, candy and frozen desserts - dairy and pareve. Whenever a holiday is in the near future (including Chanukah and Purim) the store is well stocked. For Pesach, it’s best to order dairy. meat and fish in advance, especially if you want to buy a lot. Visitors are always welcome and many non Jews who live nearby shop here as well.”

“When I wrote this review I forgot that I was writing about the Quillins in Waukon, Iowa! This review is only about the store in WAUKON, Iowa. Sorry about the confusion!Even though they don’t consistently have superior produce, this store is fabulous! The decor, which consists mainly of antique store machines, contains incredibly ornate and beautiful cash registers, scales, vending machines and other useful items. Sorry, they aren’t for sale but are delicious eye candy. As far as groceries go, I’m always thrilled to discover foods that I usually have to go to big cities to purchase. “Prices here at Postville DG have increased significantly. Wal-Mart has better prices. Some of the items I used to get at DG have increased 50%. I save money going to Wal-Mart.”

“I traveled from out of state and stopped here. This was the prettiest convenience store I have ever been to! The wide variety of food and Fresh Bakery and Deli products looks so amazing! The cashier,Travis, was very helpful and nice!”
