My favorite place to stay in Iowa. Friendly people and comfy rooms. A very nice little get away from it all and just relax place.Noteworthy details: The owners are awsome and friendly people. Very genuine and real people.

Wow, is about all I can say about this motel. My 21-year old daughter, Regan, was driving from Wisconsin back to Kansas State (Manhattan) last week. We were checking the weather often because of the upcoming snow storms and decided she would leave quickly to avoid the snow. Well, she was not too far from Missouri and hit the storm around 12:00am. She called me and we decided it was best for her to find a place and get off the roads. The Little River Inn was about 28 miles away, which took her close to 1.5 hours to drive. Regan made it and checked in for the night. The next morning we called the front desk for her and spoke to Laura about the current driving conditions. She was so helpful and thought she would be okay to hop on 1-35. Then my daughter spoke to Laura herself and felt confident about driving back to Manhattan. Laura also helped her get her car unstuck in the parking lot. Now, the best part. Laura called Regan and left her two voice mail messages to make sure she got back to school. How kind and thoughtful is that? Regan called her back to tell her she made it safely. There are kind people out there, thank you Laura. It is hard as a parent when we can't be there for our kids and your kindness was appreciated.

We stayed here for a night while passing through the area. Amazing hospitality! We were arriving and received a phone call and after a chat a text to ensure we had all the needed information. Room was well.prepared for our arrival, just what we needed for the night and again the welcoming atmosphere and kindness was overwhelming!

Easy to make reservation and check in. Very pleasant owner. Room very clean, well priced. Would recommend.Food & drinks: Coffee snacks and breakfast goodies available.

We spent our first night in town here, the day before we moved into our new home. The service was fantastic; we were greeted warmly and it was obvious that our patronage was appreciated. I highly recommend Little River Inn Motel!

A little off the beaten path but pleasant. The staff was remarkable, making sure we had everything we needed. If you are into hunting or fishing, this would be a great place to stay.Food & drinks: They have snacks out at night and snack breakfast items. As well as an honor system variety of items.

This quaint little motel is inviting and peaceful. The price was very fair. The owners were great and very welcoming. I am happy to have found this place late at night to rest after a very long day of travel. I would happily stay again. If not for the opportunity to support a small inn, at least for the puppy that welcomes you upon arrival and in the morning.

I come here to get away and fish. The owners are fantastic!! The rooms are comfortable and the best prices around. Plenty of parking with a boat.I have beem coming here for about 4 years. I stay for a week at a time. Now will be down 2 weeks a year. Thank you!!!

Super clean and friendly "Mom and Pop" hotel. The owners are highly organized and super friendly. Unfussy rooms, but very comfortable. Located near Hy-vee, Dollar General, and the lake. Spent three nights here, and am looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for a much needed break!

This is a great little place to stop if you're passing thru Iowa. Found it because my vehicle broke down on my trip and had to get it repaired. They were very accommodating and helped our day out tremendously.
