1208 Broad St, Keosauqua“Clean, decent sized dollar store with a moderate amount of options for snacks and basic necessities. Employees are friendly and helpful. Only reason I did not give 5 stars is because one of their registers was malfunctioning so they had to redo my transaction. Great overall experience for a dollar store!”
“Food prices note I said prices are below average with a wide selection of meats, cheeses, and produce it makes it well worth the drive. Check out the 3 different types of ribeyes.”
“Local grocery store with meat counter. Beef and pork hand cut or cut to your order. Serves locals, farmers, and anyone passing thru. Has been open for as long as I can remember. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Reminds me of neiborhood stores when I was a child, only has more services and goods. Stop in if your in Douds, Iowa.”
“I drive over 2 hours to get to the Dutchman's Mercantile so I don't shop there as often as I would like but when I do I am so pleased with the quality and quantity they offer. My last trip I bought 4 hanging plants that were so full and beautiful. There is definitely something for everyone. Probably my favorite is buying soft serve ice cream that you fill yourself. Either in a cone or cup. The price is amazing! Store employees are friendly and helpful and there is so much more than just groceries. Do yourself a favor and check it out”
“Not perfect. But who is? We are very lucky to have a grocery store in our little town. Employees have always been super friendly. I can find almost everything I ever want here. Prices on certain things are higher than your chain stores. But I also save in gas not driving 20-30 miles. One complaint i have is I wish they were open aittle later in the evening. By the time I get off work and remember I needed something they are closed. But if that's all I have to complain about, then they are doing pretty darn good.”
