Great course with a good mix of shade/obstacles and sunny open area. Just make sure you use bright colored disks because I lost a pale pink disk in the forest undergrowth.

Love this course. Tight wooded holes and a few open ones, very technical from the long pads, the short pads are a great way for intermediate players to learn shot shaping. A must play if in the Des Moines area

A great course to go play and pracices. A good to difficult holes to play. A slim chance for you to lose the disc. Got some good bathrooms when needed. A well maintenanced course.

Very pro. But we lost a disc and didn't find any. We had a good time on the 18 holes . And my friends enjoyed the shade from the trees. The lake by it is really nice.

This is a fun course with multiple tee and basket locations. It winds in and out of a forest and provides a great view of Saylorville Lake. The difficulty varies widely from hole to hole and some tee locations can be a little tricky to find (e.g. The teebox for #5 is tucked into the patch of woods near the teebox for #1). If you're playing in the summer the bugs may be thick, so I would recommend packing repellent. There are plenty of opportunities to lose discs into hazards like tall grass, forested areas, and the bluffs along the lake, so play with caution if you tend to throw inconsistently. There are plenty of campgrounds and recreation areas near this course, so it could be a fun activity to incorporate into a camping trip or a picnic.
