Great experience! I didn’t feel like just another body in the chair. Great conversation and environment. Will definitely become a regular. I plan on bringing my kids here for their haircuts as well.

I saw Linda last week. I had very thick long hair. She gave me such a cute short cut! She took the time to make sure I loved it before I left. I strongly recommend this salon and will be back!

I’ve been going to Melissa at Twisted Scissors for about two years now. She gives me her honest, professional opinion without unnecessary runaround. The prices are very reasonable and she does excellent work! If you want to add color(s) to your hair I would HIGHLY recommend seeing Melissa! ?

This salon is fantastic! Been going here for 2+ years and every hair cut, coloring and styling has been perfect. The shop is clean, up-to-date,,and the stylists are very friendly. I receive compliments from others about my hair now. The stylists listen to you and what you’re looking for and can come up with great ideas and solutions. I use LINDA, but FAITH and MELISSA are awesome, too. Prices are very reasonable. This is my forever salon.Services: Blowouts

I have gone to quite a few salons in the Des Moines/West Des Moines area. Twisted Scissors is a cozy, inviting salon where everyone makes you feel welcome and comfortable. I love all the additional things they have for sale also! You won’t be disappointed!Melissa at Twisted Scissors is by far the best! Melissa is very personable. You can tell that she loves what she does and has a gift for making you look your best. She is the only person I will go to for my coloring needs.

I love going to this salon! It has a warm, comfy and safe atmosphere as well as a professional environment! I love getting up every morning to brush my hair as Linda, on my first visit, listened to my concerns and in each step in my hair cut asked questions to see if I agreed or not. Linda Hepworth at Twisted Scissors is the best beautician I have ever been to. She has colored my hair several times, and I have had both regular coloring to cover gray, as well as ombre coloring in different shades of brown. She shampoos my hair, and cuts off the ends without ever cutting too much. She knows I like my long hair and she respects my taste in style. Linda always blow dries my hair with a diffuser so I don't get frizzy hair. Twisted Scissors is also the best priced salon I have ever patronized. I highly recommend them for their talent, professionalism, and prices.Services: Blowouts
