This location has obviously put in extraordinary efforts over the past few months to improve the customer experience. It is still a work in progress, but certainly will get there quickly this way. Aisles were clean and items were in categories, neatly shelved or hung up appropriately.

Like most places in Iowa saying "We do not have enough people" even with the FACT that we had a record amount of people move to Iowa in the last 5 years this place closed at 5pm so let them fail there are other dollar stores that need the money and are will to be open for real working people.

FYI Dollar tree with their 25% price increase as we all know is now 1.25. What you NEED TO TAKE NOTE this week ? look out as PRODUCTS HAVE SHRUNK ON TOP OF IT . So what gives? Candy items less by weight and pieces are 1/2 size. EXAMPLE- Fruit slices are super thin now 1/2 the thickness they were two weeks ago when I bought some. Boxed Movie theater candies size SHRUNK TOO. OH THEY ONLY MAKE so many millions/billions profit even if down a million or so RIP OFF BUYER BE WARE. Another way increase 25% without upping price. EVERY CORPORATE FOOD CO IS DOING THIS BUT 50% COME ON. Cheaper finds elsewhere. HEY DOLLAR TREE IF YOU HADN’T bought nasty gross dirty Family Dollar a failing business maybe it would be different. THEY ARE RIPPING US OFF LIKE CEREAL COMPANIES

Google and their posted hours say they should be open but doors were locked. No additional notes on the door as to why they were closed or when they would be open again. 12:10pm on a Saturday.

This is the best dollar tree in the metro hands down. Only issue is that's its never open. Need to figure that part out.

Best dollar tree in area.Clean store and parking lot. Doesn't always have everything they typically carry but WAY better overall than other Merle Hay location and less busy than Urbandale and Grimes. Good selection of balloons. Friendly staff as well.
