Sparky's use to be an absolute favorite stop. The chicken & other fixin's were tops but not so much in the later years & I can't understand how they went from food everyone raved about to just mediocre. I'm sure cost plays a factor but they always need to remember that 90% of people don't mind paying for great food!

This place is always open. Always has hot food and great service. You just can't go wrong with a Sparky's. They really know how to take care of their customers, starting with making us feel as one. Good Iowa company here. The founders were genuinely good people.

I ordered two personal pizzas light on the beef. They are overloaded with beef and not even cooked through. Its so doughy it goes all the way to the bottom.so pizza bought is not even cooked, I waited 25 minutes for an uncooked Pizza I called them they tell me let me get a hold of the manager to see if I can replace them. Are you kidding me I paid for cooked pizzas

Kristina the manager was just terrible at her job. One of her cashiers run my reefer fuel as regular truck fuel by accident and I ask her to void the transaction and re-run it as reefer fuel and she refused. I asked her to call Comdata because sometimes these things happen and she literally told me to do it myself. Wow,what can I say, I did her job when I should not have too. I hope Comdata does a audit of this place. A driver should not get a refusal to help change a receipt. Shame on you…no stars

The food here is absolutely abysmal. I don't understand how you can so consistently make breakfast food taste both stale and overcooked and soggy at the same time. Every single time. And the coffee is so acidic that no amount of cream and sugar can cover it up.I wish there were another convenient place to stop and get both gas and breakfast on my occasional morning travels this direction. ?Come here for gas and shelf stable items only.

I have stopped here a few times, they always have a friendly service. The restaurant part of the store : the food is good, can't recall what the prices were like. Always got the chicken legs.
